Good luck with that one. I've flown many of the trails on Jeep Safari mornings. Some may not be that crowded early in the day, but we seem to have difffering definitions of "not a soul in sight." This year. several trails are being split into 2 runs...a morning run and an afternoon run...
A guy just posted some pix on Expedition Portal of a cabover pop-up camper he is building...aluminum and composite. Looks interesting.

I wired them to one of the 40 amp aux switch circuits. Each light is rated at 7.5 amps total. I would not recommend using a 15-amp aux switch circuit. I was not interested in using the amber running lights, low/high function, or any of the other frills. I just wanted bright lights. If you...

Sorry, I have no night pix and they rarely give a good indication of the lighting anyway. The LP6s with the Combo pattern have a fantastic pattern for off-road and moderate speeds. I do have a pair of BD XL-R Racer Edition spots on order that will reach...
Just had to go look at mine too. It's perfectly straight. On my Scrambler, I was able to correct bumper angle by adjusting brackets. I haven''t looked at how the Gladiator bumper is attached, but there might be some possible adjustment or you could use shims.
The Premium Audio System, including the sub, on the LE is no different than on any other Gladiator. It has a Mopar sticker on the grille with part # 68397142AA. Here's the best shot I have of mine.
I had 2 Swing Cases in my last truck which also had a shell. They are very handy but made of plastic and definitely not as sturdy as metal boxes. Personally, I would not use them in an uncovered bed...or at least would not put anything of value in them. There were also several reports of the...
I picked up an aluminum Husky box at Home Depot 6 months ago. I raised it about 1 inch so it could sit flush against the front trail rail and the lid would not hit the front bed rail when opening. There are 1/4-inch thick rubber strips on the bottom of the risers so they grip the bed really...
I dropped Warn's Evo 10-S into my Rubicon's OEM steel bumper using the mounting plate from Rusty's Offroad. It was a fairly easy one-person install. I put a winch on my Scrambler in 1982 and the only thing I ever used it for was pulling other people out of places they should not have been in...
Not a wrench at all. You're still going to need a phone or tablet in the vehicle. Gaia is a great app. I have it on my iPad and sometimes use it...just not as often as Avenza. The main reason I've used Avenza is because I'm more familiar with it and already have a ton of maps downloaded. If...
The OP asked for recommendations for a tablet to use off-road. My recommendation would be to get one that includes GPS functionality without being connected to cell service. Period. That would include most Android tablets and any Apple tablet with cellular connectivity. You will pay about...
I used RAM Mount components. The main mount is a stalk that attaches to a passenger seat bolt. It was a bit shakey by itself off-road so everything is stabilized by a RAM Mount clamp attached to the grab bar above the glove box. Passengers tell me it is not in their way. My setup is...
I use an iPad Mini with Avenza, but there are several good apps. I've downloaded every 1/24000 topo and orthophoto map in Grand County (Moab) onto it and also have every trail in the county on the maps. It took a while to set it all up but was worth the effort. Photo of installation:
There are a few threads about temporarily losing apps, Sirius XM, camera feeds, and advanced climate controls when the battery is disconnected. They usually come back overnight so give it some time...though there might be a chance you erased your self-recorded trails when you hit "restore...
I mounted my BD LP6 lights directly to the steel bumper using existing bolts. It doesn't look like you have the steel bumper though. I don't know if your bumper would have bolts in the same location...probably not if it is the plastic bumper. Diode Dynamics makes brackets that mount to the...
