If it were my Gladiator it would mysteriously catch fire on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. I.....I don't know what happened. It just started smoking, the displayed said EJECT EJECT EJECT. Next thing I know I'm driving a Ram.
An easy way to tell, while the drive axle is off the ground, is to secure one wheel to keep it from spinning. The other wheel should have some resistance when you spin it. This is due to the clutches of the LSD. If it spins freely then it's an open diff.
The reason they spin in opposite...
Don't forget to contact Stellantis and have them send you genuine Mopar air for your tires. I also only use Mopar gas in my trucks. Nothing but what they put in at the factory.
Same thing happened to mine on a trip to Snowshoe right after they cindered all the roads leading up the mountain. My rear fenders look like they were hit with #7 birdshot. Same with the rear door hinges. To say I was irritated is an understatement.
I like the concept of the Rokblokz, but they...
Chalk method is the best way to dial in big, wide tires. Been doing it that way for 25 years.
I run my 35x12.5r15's at 28 psi for best tread wear. I give no shits about MPG, or I wouldn't have put on big, heavy tires.
Any lift should let you keep the sway bar disconnect. As long as the new end links are long enough to keep the sway bar in the correct position to disconnect.
I kind of have similar feelings in regards to how the Gladiator tows. We have a Sport S with max tow. We use it to tow my 18' bass boat. It's a single axle as well. I've pulled that boat all over the east coast with a Ram 1500 at speeds over 80 mph with no issue. Nothing made it sway or feel...
This has been an issue since they started using e-lockers. It's just the sensor that's bad.
At least on the JK it's a $50 part. But you have to remove the carrier assembly to get to it.
As far as I know it's the same sensor on the JL/JT. Dana didn't change the design.
A Mopar lift is not stock. You cussed a guy out because they want to further modify your already modified vehicle to correct the geometry? Real classy.
It is not stock. Where the lift kit came from, part numbers, who installed it, is inconsequential. It's modified from it's original...
Been wondering the same thing. I had the thought of mounting the rear cam on the back side of the sound bar. It's not ideal, but it'll be out of the way and still get ok'ish video.
That's Hendrick for you. I refuse to ever do business with those scumbags. Even before the vehicle shortage, back in 2019, I went there to buy a 2500. They had $6000 in dealer mark ups on it. $2500 for "Ceramic coating" which was b.s., the paint was flat as can be, zero protection on it. Some...
My guess is the previous owner didn't "blow it up" but the motor itself was just not destined for a long life from the get go. It happens. Had a new 5.7 dropped in my old '13 Ram at 5800 miles. Wrist pin failure and rod played peek-a-boo out the side of the block. They slapped a new long block...
you using some kind of lotion on your hands, or work with chemicals / construction materials? When I did masonry 20 years ago the lime in the mortar would literally eat away a leather wrapped steering wheel in no time.
That being said I've had 3 Ram's, 3 Wranglers and a JT, all with leather...
