In their mind, if you intend to purchase the vehicle but want a particular color that bad, you’ll wait for it. From a sales perspective, I’d want to show all of the options, now and in the future, in case someone might have initially passed on the vehicle because there weren’t any colors they...
There are a few threads on here that mention the JL’s color releases and when they became available. If you don’t find them before I do, I’ll reply with a link.
Not to be negative or seem like a personal attack, but judging by the way they just sold (debate-able definition) all of the Launch...
Man, I’d reach out to your dealer tomorrow and press them hard for your VIN and their order/build sheet. Even dealer allocations have to be ordered, and someone is bankrolling the truck before you purchase it from the dealer, so they should have something to give you.
I don’t think anyone here...
Now that’s a dealer I can get behind! In all seriousness, the common theme I see is most dealers just telling people what they want to hear.
Just ordered an LE? It’ll be here in May! Didn’t make the cut for the Launch Edition? No worries, they won’t even be delivered until Q5 of 2026...
MOPAR has said they intend to have the 2" lift ready to purchase when the Gladiator hits dealer lots. You should be able to find examples of it on Google.
It might not mean much, but the Launch Edition page on the Jeep site no longer has the option to join the wait-list; just has the "sign up for updates" button.
What I love about some of these dealers is that they found out about the LE at the same time the general public did, yet now seem to know the delivery schedule. Obviously I'm biased toward getting the LEs sooner, but it doesn't make sense that those who place orders after the Launch Edition...
Glad to see they had good taste and sprung for the body color hardtop and fender flares! At least on some of them... Usually we’re fans of uniformity for Government purchases.
It makes sense that they’ll be ran together, but what I’m getting at is that the LEs have already been ordered while regular orders have yet to be possible, leading me to think they’d be delivered before regular orders.
It’s hard to produce them together if nobody can order anything else.
Right on man. I hear some people over in the General Discussion are wondering about the tonneau cover being waterproof or how warm it gets in a soft top... Maybe we could lend a hand bahahaha
Math checks on my end brother! 436/day assuming 24/7 @ a 2:30 cycle...
I’m on the optimistic side with you. I think even if we tone down the units per day, the math is still hard to deny.
Even better, thanks to @kayakmike’s info, I remembered that Jeep was being pretty stingy with dealer...
Man, I would 1,000% call the Launch Edition “pre-spec”! Plus, they should technically be able to account for the color variable and put them into April production. I know my post was mostly speculation too, but dealer feedback has been worthless in this saga. I have a hard time taking delivery...
This may be wishful thinking, but I’ve seen a lot of speculation about various production waves and that Launch Editions will be later than other orders. Is it crazy to think that since Jeep was clearly planning the Launch Edition, they could already be churning them out, initially making a few...
My new theory is that the Government orders were actually the Launch Editions! Not a slight against JL-Engineline, just wishful thinking that they’ve been churning them out for 3 weeks now.
“The Government order for just over 7k JT's has been verified. These 7k units must be built before any...
