Yes sir they hold up quite well. I know a few people with JKs that ran the factory rock rails for several years with no issues. We have come a long way since the TJs
So I just finished up building a front bumper out of 1/4” Aluminum plate. I will have a full video of that coming to my YouTube channel soon and pics to my build thread. After that it’s getting a lift and 38” Milestar Patagonias
Hey thanks! If you were interested you could send me your factory rock rails and I could add the tubing to them for you. I'm sure shipping would be very expensive though.
Sneak peak, winch bumper build in progress. Full video coming soon. Also welded some tube on the sliders. I might be the first person to do that on the Gladiator sliders? Video on that coming as well.
You bring a very valid point, something I didn’t consider when I drove a 3rd gen Tacoma. I am on the shorter side 5’ 10” so I fit in the Tacoma alright but yeah if you can’t fit comfortably that makes sense
I'm waiting for a few things to fall into place as far as the build goes. In the meantime I did film a video about taking the top and doors off the Gladiator. Since this is my first Jeep I was interested to see just how difficult it all would be.
