Tires a much louder now, I’ve heard the new MT2 version is much better but I can’t speak for those. These were such a good price I couldn’t pass them up. Happy with them but wore faster than I would have liked.

Finally hit 20,000 miles

Paint was chipping real bad on my bed rack so I finally got it powder coated and back on the JT. First time having it back on with the tent and the spare tire. Ready for some adventures again

Added an air tank in the bed. Did some testing and it ended up being about 43% faster. Pretty happy with it and will be adding some more tanks under the bed in the near future.

Getting back to it. Installed some screen protectors on the JT.

Finally made a video on the spare tire basket. More suitable for the Wrangler but there are a few JTs with spare tires mounted on the back. Additional storage never hurts!

Thanks! I can’t remember exactly since it’s been so long since I built this and material prices have fluctuated since then but I think just for aluminum portion it was only like $150 in material and about 5 hours of labor total. I ended up adding more to it later

Took a look at this cool flexible solar panel. Would be perfect for a hard shell RTT to mount it.
