  1. Custom Swing Away Tire Carrier

You’re probably right it would be lighter without one of the cross pieces. I tend to over build things some times.
  2. Custom Swing Away Tire Carrier

I won’t be adding a gas strut to this setup. Swing out carriers don’t usually have them. It’s an interesting idea though. It swings open so easily because of the bearings.

That’s a nice setup you have!

I should weigh the seat and fridge and compare that would be interesting!
  10. Easiest Seat Delete Possible w/ Video

The usable area that you get is a bit more than that. I think it’s more like 40” x 20.5” depending on seat position. The fridge is an Iceco JP50. I have a review video of the fridge on the channel if you’re interested.
  11. Easiest Seat Delete Possible w/ Video

    19.5” x 38.5”
  12. Easiest Seat Delete Possible w/ Video

Removing the seat is pretty easy actually. The factory bolts are some sort or large hex head but I found that a 6 point 11 mm socket worked perfect for taking them out.
  13. Easiest Seat Delete Possible w/ Video

Sorry about that. Bolts are (2) M12-1.75 x 60 and (2) M12-1.75 x 90. They go in the same spots the seat is bolted to. Thought I mentioned that in the video
  14. Easiest Seat Delete Possible w/ Video

Just wanted to share my take on the K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple stupid) seat delete. I hadn’t seen any one build theirs quite this simple. Full info in the video. Who else did a simple seat delete?
  15. TJ's Crawler/Overland Build

Seat delete video. Possibly the simplest way to make one.
  16. TJ's Crawler/Overland Build

Tested this diesel heater from Vevor. Works great in the shop and can’t wait to try it with the roof top tent.
  17. TJ's Crawler/Overland Build

This is what it looks like without the fridge
  18. TJ's Crawler/Overland Build

I only did the 40% because I still need to have two passengers in the back on some trips.
  19. TJ's Crawler/Overland Build

Worked on a 40% seat delete. Got it done for under $50. Very simple but very functional. More details coming later.
  20. TJ's Crawler/Overland Build

Progress has been slow. Tire is on now though. I still need to re locate the backup cam, add the 3rd brake light, and license plate light.
