I should weigh the seat and fridge and compare that would be interesting!TJ nice work and keeping it real. For what some of the commercial products available is quite a few tanks of fuel. You might be saving some weight having fridge there vs seat weight too.
E-Torx: https://www.harborfreight.com/7-pc-14-in-38-in-drive-impact-e-socket-set-67898.htmlRemoving the seat is pretty easy actually. The factory bolts are some sort or large hex head but I found that a 6 point 11 mm socket worked perfect for taking them out.
I would bet the right side rear seat is heavier than fridge and seat delete, might be close on left rear side. I did some cussing when I removed mine. Later I redid my "seat delete" and re-installed the left rear seat.I should weigh the seat and fridge and compare that would be interesting!
I would bet your right. I plan on weighing them when I have some spare time soon to find out exactly how much they weigh.I would bet the right side rear seat is heavier than fridge and seat delete, might be close on left rear side. I mounted the other side to a few 2x8s and had it setting in my shed as a hillbilly loveseat.I would bet your right. I plan on weighing them when I have some spare time soon to find out exactly how much they weigh.
ICECO seem to be doing well. Many singing their praises. Have had my rotomolded fridge/cooler for a bit over a year. It runs almost non-stop not a single issue. Not having to deal with ice has been a game changer. Another cool addition to your already rad build. Thank you for sharing! The usable area that you get is a bit more than that. I think it’s more like 40” x 20.5” depending on seat position.
The fridge is an Iceco JP50. I have a review video of the fridge on the channel if you’re interested.
