Congrats!
Yeah I do kind of wish we had gone with the extra door sometimes, not the end of the world though!
Adding an awning is next on my list to do. Way better than pulling out a tarp.
If you find a decent storage box, let me know. Iāve spent ages looking for something. At the moment Iāve...
No idea, theyāre what came with the kit. I really havenāt done anything hard with them. Aside from being on Houston roads for 3 weeks in August lol
All four of my original shocks were leaking and pretty beat up when I got my lift. Iād had the Gladiator maybe 10 months at that point.
Fast forward another 11 months and Iām looking at two front shocks that look like this.
Needless to say Iām done with Fox. Neither my original shocks or these...
I think that a Facebook group exists, hiker owners itās called? Not sure though. I got rid of Facebook years ago.
honestly for what the stuff costs that are available for add-ons, look at doing things yourself.
we added the roof bars from factory but everything Iāve added now, has saved me a...
canāt speak to how it goes with sand but I will say ours is very light. Not slapping $8000 worth of extras on really helps with that!
going for a 5x10 would have been my ideal butI thought we were going to be pushing it for space in the garage. I was wrong but hey, I can still lay down at 6ft...
If youāve got any questions Iād be happy to help answer them.
ours is the midrange. I of course wanted to go for a more āoff-roadā style but the wife persuaded me otherwise. Iām glad she did. We were able to take the midrange everywhere we wanted to go, no problem.
only things we added were...
Compared to other options, they are positively cheap.
Rooftop tent set up would have cost somewhere around $4500. Which wouldnāt work for my family. Iām glad we paid a few thousand more for all the benefits of a trailer
Yes! Weāve managed to spend 10 nights in it so far this year (or there abouts).
We took it to Colorado, itās been used in the Ozarks and is about to get some more use over the coming few weeks of hunting season.
Absolutely love it. Hardly notice it behind the Jeep. We did 2500 miles to Colorado...
I went wheeling this weekend as part of the Ozark Overland Adventure Patreon meet up.
Noticed a pretty bad clunk on the front end when the sway bar was disconnected.
Hard to tell any further than that but Iād say it was when I was turning slowly, with some droop on the front wheels. I.e...
Ha! Iāve seen that truck before. Itās pretty cool but no way would I ever own one. Iāll take something that was actually designed for daily(ish) driving
Thatās where I first saw it too. Honestly I should have just gone the harbor freight from the start.
Agree with you on taking the bumper on and off. I was lucky to have help the first time it went on. Not so lucky the second time. My garage was rated R
I did resolve it. I sold the winch and went and bought a harbor freight one!
I do believe that the Arcus bumper is very close to the grill. The way the badlands sits, the cable comes out the back and is HARD against the grill. A few people drill through the side of the box and reroute it but...
Iāve been noticing what I thought was condensation streaks on the back window over the past month of so.
Well I went through the car wash this morning and yup, window leak coming from the top.
I know thereās been MANY people with this same issue.
Is there a definitive fix for this? Canāt get...
These are what I bought. @ā22JTRD gave me great help with them. Thereās a little nub on the back thatās easy to cut off, you do have to cut the opening of the bumper shell slightly too.
Im not handy at all and I managed it haha
