  1. Clunk on front end

I went wheeling this weekend as part of the Ozark Overland Adventure Patreon meet up. Noticed a pretty bad clunk on the front end when the sway bar was disconnected. Hard to tell any further than that but I’d say it was when I was turning slowly, with some droop on the front wheels. I.e...

  3. You drive a gladiator? That’s cute…

Ha! I’ve seen that truck before. It’s pretty cool but no way would I ever own one. I’ll take something that was actually designed for daily(ish) driving
  4. Openroad winch - cable impacting grille

That’s where I first saw it too. Honestly I should have just gone the harbor freight from the start. Agree with you on taking the bumper on and off. I was lucky to have help the first time it went on. Not so lucky the second time. My garage was rated R
  5. Openroad winch - cable impacting grille

I did resolve it. I sold the winch and went and bought a harbor freight one! I do believe that the Arcus bumper is very close to the grill. The way the badlands sits, the cable comes out the back and is HARD against the grill. A few people drill through the side of the box and reroute it but...
  6. Rear window leak…

We’ve had 31ā€ of rain so far this year
  7. Rear window leak…

I’ve been noticing what I thought was condensation streaks on the back window over the past month of so. Well I went through the car wash this morning and yup, window leak coming from the top. I know there’s been MANY people with this same issue. Is there a definitive fix for this? Can’t get...
  8. Grrrrrr I should sell my jeep..

Store it. That’s a sweet looking vehicle
  9. Arcus bumper install

These are what I bought. @ā€˜22JTRD gave me great help with them. There’s a little nub on the back that’s easy to cut off, you do have to cut the opening of the bumper shell slightly too. Im not handy at all and I managed it haha
  10. Arcus bumper install

Can kind of see them if you zoom
  11. Arcus bumper install

I went the JL ā€œhoopsā€ on the front. Stole the idea from another guy in here lol. A lot lighter and less… hooky?
  12. Tire change on interstate

No idea about a Good Samaritan law. I do have a tazer so can do the ā€œlight showā€. We also have no vehicle inspections
  13. Tire change on interstate

Illegal in Arkansas to have any sort of flashing light on your vehicle, unfortunately. I was contemplating rigging up a flasher to my spots, front and rear
  14. Tire change on interstate

GET OFF THE ROAD. Sorry to hear that someone you know died. Highways are no place to mess around outside of your vehicle. I’ve only once had a flat while moving. That happened in the UK. I drove an extra 1/4 mile or so, on the shoulder, slowly. If I absolutely had no other choice but to stop...
  15. Adios!!!

I grew up in a family that loved old school Defenders. I learnt to drive in a 90. The new ones just look like every other fat suv out there. Give me a brick with no airbags :CWL: In all honesty though, the new ones are a great place to sit. I’d take one on a road trip over a Gladiator
  16. Adios!!!

    That’s not a defender….
  17. Dang I cut too much installing my snorkel!!

Cut a little too much!? Man I’d be crying.
  18. Need new lights…

So my two year old grabbed hold of a ladder that was leaning against the garage wall and pulled it over onto the Gladiator. Cracked the tail light, small dent on the crease. I’m actually shocked at how little damage it did! The ladder hit at almost 45° and was moving fast. A few inches to the...
  19. Gladiator Welcome Camping Spots -- For and From Site Members

We aren’t on land, just a quiet cul de sac in Maumelle, Arkansas. We have a 5 bedroom house with 3 bathrooms and are always up for drop in guests. Talking to someone other than my 2 year old is enjoyable :CWL:
  20. 35” Tire Opinion

I’m running 35 Ridge Grapplers. Love them. They’re tougher than the stock tires but I’m also probable a few psi too high still. Done probably 5k on them and they’re great. Not noisy at all
