Actuator or turbo? Guessing you’re referring to actuator. I’m surprised it was the actuator given that I was at cruising speed when my dash lit up like Clark Griswold’s house.

Update: Apparently the turbo actuator failed BUT the actuator cannot be replaced so they have to replace the entire turbo assembly (including gaskets, seals, etc.). Luckily, my dealership has the turbo in stock and will just be hunting down the gaskets/seals. Should be another couple days and...

Update: Jeep got towed into the shop on Friday. I contacted the dealership today and they said they are looking to open a case with Chrysler regarding replacing the turbo (they are still investigating). My first question was “is there any potential downstream damage for the turbo failing while...

Check engine light just came on so I pulled over to an AutoZone - says the turbo is out and I need a new oil line (assume for the turbo). Dumb question, but can I still drive it? Just need to know as I’m sitting in the parking lot and cannot get ahold of the dealer … need to pick up my daughter...

I don’t know about the “hot” colors aging … I bought the impact orange LJ in ‘08 and still get compliments on it pretty much every time I drive it. Plus I’ve only ever seen 3-4 other factory impact orange TJs/LJs in the wild (know “hot” colors are not as rare anymore).

I love both those colors. If Punkin were available when I ordered my Gecko Green JTRD I MIGHT have done that to match the Impact Orange LJ. I do like having contrasting colors … but matching could have been cool too. I’ve always though Bikini on a JT with the saddle interior would look BA too
