Picked up my Jeep from getting service done at the dealership on Friday and when I got home heard an awful rattling at idle. Found the culprit … loose bolt holding the catalytic converter to the mount at the washer was ratting against the transmission.
Pulled the bolt and looks like it was cross threaded - anyone have any idea on the part number for this?

I would be asking the dealer and tell them to order you a replacement.

Did they have a reason to remove that bolt for your service?

Did it rattle as soon as you left or down the road?

That bolt was also a problem on mine. Took it out while removing exhaust parts for better access welding on the long arm brackets. Came out gummed up…went back the same way. Ended up just removing, leaving bolt out.
Replacing the bolt On mine will also require the nut bracket to be replaced.
After a few hundred miles the squeak went away. Have about 25k on it since. Forgot about till I read your post.

Your welcome,

Of course once you get the bracket you can remove the bolt you need and install that only.
