Really like the build. I have a sarge 6 speed and love it. How are you liking your tires? I picked up a set on that deal as well, but haven't mounted them up yet.
Regarding the rev hang. I don't think it's really rev hang I'm experiencing. It actually accelerates on it's own.
I completely understand how a choke works, this is a separate issue.

I found this "rev hang" a pain in the ass as I had to constantly counter with the brakes. It would rev from say 1500 up to 2000rpms. When you're in 4low 2nd or 3rd gear that's substantially faster than what you're asking for.
The choke is exactly correct. It does however really suprise you...
Just took my Echo on a 58 mile back country rd. About half the time in 4 low (pretty rocky) no problems
Just took my Echo on a 58 mile back road trip about 50% in 4 low. (Very bumpy) No issues. It does come with a rubber strap to secure it. I added an extra bungie around the unit.
I have also had some issues with my manual. In 1st gear 2wd, and 1st 2nd and third in 4wd low. The engine will rev 400-500rpms higher than where you were when you barely touch the throttle.
You touch it, remove your foot and it continues to rev an additional 500rpms. WTF??

So after reading all of your posts, I jumped in there and got the trail edition. I am very happy with the quality and install was a snap. Overall very happy with the ability to hear the low rpms (6 speed) very necessary. Its a tad loud above 3000rpms when towing but I am getting used to it, not...
The clutch feel, no low end torque, and not being able to hear the engine.
I modified the clutch pedal to make it sit slightly closer, installed the Idrive throttle controller (which hellped a little) but the aftermarket AWE exhaust really helped the most. In traffic I couldn't hear the low...
