  1. Gun holster options?

Have to agree with CompanyMan. I carry a Glock 43 indide the waist band because I don't want to fumble for it and with a cheap little Blackhawk tactical holster you don't even know it's there. As far as AR-15s go, my 9mm AR pistol fits fantastic in my Bartact seat cover pocket or my light...
  2. Ugly Jeep

Take the top off, paint it black and we've come full circle to the model T roadster...

Sorry but that has no ]testicles... no need to look under the tail!
  4. Walmart sale 315/70r17- No longer on sale...

Go back to your original puchase confirmation from Walmart. From there open up the tracking on each individual tire, it may still show up yet. My first two tires showed up Sunday. At that point it showed all tires had been delivered(5). Two more showed up Monday, then the last one Tuesday. Even...

The stench smells like sour grapes to me??
  6. Deeper Gearing For The Manual

I own the same Jeep as BGH an agree on all points. Reverse takes a little to get used to but still love the manual! Gearing in low is pretty fantastic, you'll love it. I do use 5th & 6th mostly for economy on flat ground.
  7. Does anyone know how to get the stench of rotten whalemeat out of a Gladiator?

Sounds like a lot of "blubbering" to me...? clothespin on the nose and good luck!
  8. Someone should burn this thing!

... and I never had that kind of money as a kid!
  9. Someone should burn this thing!

Have to admit, not my thing. When I see a jeep like that the word "juvenile" comes to mind. To me a jeep is a tool. And tools are practical and functional first. My Rubicon actually had a few more shiny flashy things from the factory than I really like(red dash for example), but it has grown...
  10. Walmart sale 315/70r17- No longer on sale...

Just a thought. As you guys mount up your new tires drop a note on this thread on tire diameter to get propper MPH, and what tire pressure you are running. Might save the next guy a few headaches... ? I cant imagine needing any more than about 30psi to get a full tread and even wear... that...
  11. Owner of Jeep left at dealer for oil change is sued after tragic accident

Well, First off, most people in the service part of the industy are good working class people just like you and I. Second, it's not at all about being lazy. My Gladiator came with four free oil changes, I would be an idiot indeed for not taking advantage of that fact. Third, there are...

  14. Bed Storage (not drawers) Options

I've had really great luck with the action packers, both sizes. They are just about waterproof, super light, super cheap and US made.
  15. Was attacked by a turkey today

That was the best episode of WKRP EVER...
  16. Just wondering if it’s just me?

Makes me happy every time I get a glance! It's just such a capable all around rig! There are a lot of specialty vehicles and custom jeeps that arguably do one or two things really good. This Jeep however is the Swiss army knife of vehicles. It does a great job of covering all the bases...
  17. Mopar Halogen Fog Lights to Mopar LED Fog Lights

Same song here, the parts guy told me up front. "Oh yea I switched to led's, they worked with no problems" So I mounted up the bumper, and winch. Turned on the fogs, they flickered twice and haven't worked since. Jscan and the works. Later the parts guy fessed up to using a Tazer...
  18. Mopar Halogen Fog Lights to Mopar LED Fog Lights

Same boat here! Bought the mopar bumper w/led's, insalled, turned on then flickered off. Set up Jscan. My dash fog light shows on now, but no actual fogs on??
  19. Stupid Aussie

I have always been sensitive to motion sicness, but have to admit I really like the ride on my Rubicon. I was super impressed with how it handles the washboards. Sure they're soft and kind of cushy but it beats the hell out of rattling your fillings out. Have you thought about air lift to have a...
