I sliced 2 of them on my JK within about 6 months. Switched to Krawlers soon after. I love the Duratracs, but I'll never have them again on anything that sees the offroad.
I stand corrected. I thought the Falken were 3 ply sidewall. Regardless, I don't know if I've ever heard of a cut sidewall on a Falken AT, whereas the Duratrac are rather infamous for it.
100%. Nowhere does that say there will be no electric Gladiator. It simply says "there will be no pickup version of the Recon". He actually says "everything's open".
More votes for the Duratracs and Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws from me. Duratracs are much lighter and have a deeper tread depth when new, however they are only a 2 ply sidewall that are prone to cuts if you wheel with them. The Falkens are heavier, quieter, and (I believe) have a 3 ply sidewall...

Have you ever had a coil spring solid axle rig before? Are you talking about things like expansion joints, cracks/bumps in the road surface that go all the way across? The track bars are on opposite sides front to rear, so the axles swing left and right as the suspension suspension cycles...
Over the years, I've generally found that most sales people know little to fuck all about the vehicles they're selling. Especially as a Jeep Nerd, the dumb sales people I've spoken to really annoying the hell out of me.
Side note, I wish Stellantis made a rebadged Ram 1500 a Jeep Jtruck. I would probably be driving one of those instead of the Gladiator. The Ram Classic would be perfect as a J truck.
I had 2 F150 3.5 EBs before buying my JTRD. Both were great trucks, and dead reliable. My 12 had 340,000 kms on it when I sold it to buy my 16 Lariat. They were great, but I LOVE my Gladiator diesel. Other than size, fuel type, and off road capability, the biggest difference is parts...
