Kenda Klever 35x10.5. weigh about the same as the stock tire, very quiet and priced well. I've heard they can be found as low as ~180 per tire; I paid 200 each shipped.
looks like the only other exposed parts are the CA hangers, diff and resonator? I'm debating whether to get a "full belly pan" because it looks like a lot of the stuff they cover doesn't actually need protection.
My super red nekky no drill no wire tap cb /gmrs install.
I may end up with some sort of overhead mount, but the first thing I bought was a cb because the club I ride with most uses it. I also wanted gmrs with a little more power than handheld.
I decided to mount both to the same quadratec...
Yeah. That's a big chunk of change.
I've never been to Kentucky. I'm assuming you've got some back roads that have dips and such that would benefit from the Mojave suspension?
you and I are in the same boat. There is a 2" lift for the Mojave that will keep stock geometry intact: https://www.aev-conversions.com/product/mojave-spacer-lift/
I did see some guys have run 37s without lifting at all, but I wonder if that still works going fast in the desert without rubbing...
Have you guys taken any desert trails after stuffing 37s in? I like how stock I'm able to bomb through the trails the SxS cut without bottoming or rubbing. Curious to know if a lift is needed to go bigger.
Picked up my Mojave last night. It's been a while since I've been in a Jeep but this is #5 for me.
Really impressed at how capable it is out of the box!
