Okay MOPAR parts gurus, I need some help find a few parts for this install under the seat. When doing a random search I found the below pic for a 2022 Ram (Camera Processor Module - Mopar (56029965AC). What I need is the parts number for #4 and #6 and to a less extent #3. If I can get those...
Things I found out today:
1. the CVPM is obnoxiously large and the design sucks to place it anywhere other than itās intended place.
2. A custom bracket will need to be made for it because of its design
3. It cannot fit behind the trim on the passengers right kick panel because of lack of...
@ecidiego nice find!!!!
so the wiring harness 68428691AA is NOT the correct harness and needs to be rewired?? Man I thought I read somewhere that this was the correct one.
That washer tank looks like a dumpster fire to removeā¦mine is definitely on the drivers side but Iām sure is ārelativelyā similar. How many bolts do you count that I will have to remove on the gas version to get that out? It does appear Iāll have to remove the wheel liner.
from the the bottom...
Iām not going to the back either. If you donāt have the MOPAR trailer brake, the left kick panel has a ton of room for a mount and Iād suggest watching an install video of that to gather some ideas. The MOPAR brake controller module came mounted on a piece of steel that easily secured back there...
@DailyDrivenTJ holy crap Iām stoked, Nice job! My parts just arrived after 7 months and I am beyond excited to start and complete this task, what size farkas do you recommend after seeing all the recommends on this thread. Iām guessing a 1ā (female/male) and a 6ā (female/female) for the front...
@Primer Gray When you compared the ā24 grille to your old grille was there much of a difference visually to the amount of air it could let through? Any fitment challenges? Lastly, where did you source it given none of the MOPAR sites seem to have ā24 parts? Very impressed with your commitment...
Please take pictures of your install for posterity! Iām still awaiting the parts from my dealership (they provide parts at no cost because it was part of the purchase deal)ā¦going on 7 months now
my plan is to use the harness Jimmy built and see if I can figure out some alternate...
Coolā¦means I didnāt mess it up. Itās one of those installs that makes you question if you did it wrong or one of the mechanisms was faulty since it pretty much doesnāt do anything unless itās in use with a trailer.
Just installed my MOPAR trailer brake but havenāt hooked up a trailer. So mine has no light, nothing. No lights at night. I do hear a click when I press the button but thatās it. Is the assumption itās working? Does anyone have it light up without a trailer at night? Any pics what it should...
That 12v relocation took me all of 10 minutes with the right tools (cardboard, compass, drill, file) all thanks to members like youā¦keep the upgrades going. Next on my plate: Front Trail Cam.
That is one impressive install, thank you! From the pics it appears you also trimmed the internal plastic bits that the climate control clip back into, is this correct? Any issues with the climate control rattling or being loose after this install? That was actually my second choice location...
Wellā¦kind of. Silver Zenith is technically a new color. Iām not saying itās any different than silvers in the past but itās technically a different part number and ānew colorā. All that being said, I finally figured it out: 6NN98SSEAD
This website has all the cameras with and without trail cam...
Not to beat a dead horse but can anyone help me with the part number for the rear camera you need for the front trail cam install in Zenith Silver. I have all other parts but canāt figure this one outā¦how would I know it is the one with or the one without trail camā¦is there a system to the part...
Hey all, I just installed the trailer brake and am looking for ideas to relocate the factory 12v socket the trailer brake replaced. The only three Iāve seen pictures of on a search have been:
1. Just next to the emergency brake - too close to the brake for my use.
2. Just behind the screw on the...
Mine had the same issueā¦leaked everywhere all over my garage and my engine belts after the recall. They towed the vehicle and apparently one of the fittings on the line into the pump was loose on the new fuel pump when it was delivered. Why they didnāt check before installation it is beyond me...
Absolutely, we are a diesel family though. Wife drives a ā15 MB GL diesel and my ā23 JTRD. Both have been great vehicles. The MB has had 2 oil coolers replaced under warranty in that time (known flaw with the motor) and diesel gate crap. In the past we also owned a ā06 Liberty CRD (torque...
Itās just about the worst theft protection device Iāve seen. It literally took me 2 minutes to disconnect and it was so obvious plugged into the VAG port. Any thief with an IQ of 2 would know how to remove it in the same amount of time. I feel safer with an AirTag
