For a standard garage opening you will fit without problem. A standard opening is 84", my garage opening is just shy of that at 81". I have a JLUR with a 3" lift and 37" tires, plus I have the soft top which sits up several inches higher then the hard top. I clear my opening with about 3.5 " to...
Thats good to know that these are not a direct swap. Kind of a bummer, but I hope Fox does indeed make a hardware kit for these to bolt up. Anyhow, looks like you have a great build going on. Do you have a build thread?
What do you guys/gals think about a sky one touch top for the gladiator? Do you think Jeep will ever have this as an option for the gladiator? I was not interested in this on the wrangler but the gladiator seems to be a perfect platform to offer this as an option.
There are to many variables that could have caused your last situation so I will not comment further on that. Many mistakes happen from dealer installs and from the lack of care and not paying attention to detail while overcharging customers. I wouldn't even let a dealer wash any of my vehicles...
:headbang::angry: no one cares about the radio install! You are killing me with the suspense. you sure do know how to tease us.
Kidding aside, you build some of the raddest Jeeps. They are always well thought out, looking forward to view more of your work.
This 100%!!!
Just purchase the lift and plan to do the install over a weekend. It is extremely easy to do. Even if you have never done it before. If you run into an issue or have questions the forum is here to help. That is what is great about the Jeep community. Also I am sure there is a forum...
ACF-50 is oily when it goes on but will dry to a clear film. Fluid film works so I am not knocking it by no means. I have used it many times with aircraft and on many other things including the Jeep, but you say you see it as "proof" something is working while "dealing" with the residue...
Yes if your steering wheel is not centered correctly it can cause this to happen. First get your jeep lined up moving in a straight line and approach your work area. Once your tires are lined up and straight and you notice the wheel is not centered, it needs to be corrected. If you place a...
Nothing against AEV, as I like what they bring to the table, but thats what they said while they were developing the JL specific Borah wheel back in 2018 So the AEV dealer refused to sale me the JK Borah wheel because it was not approved for the JL Rubicon and may not work. I ended up...
I mentioned the AEV because he stated he liked bilstein shocks and brought up the fox shocks from the Mopar kit, so I was assuming he was considering a lift to gain back some height and get the shocks he liked. I am aware AEV has a specific diesel kit coming around the corner but It would not...
If you have been pleased with bilstein in the past, maybe look into the dual sport from AEV. They use bilstein in the Dual sport 2.5" lift that is compatible with the diesel.
can you also get a close up photo of the front MC springs while you are on level ground. I am curious to see how much the front springs look compressed with the weight of the diesel
