You could possibly fabricate something from a GoPro mounting kit. But I haven't seen anything on the market that would use the GoPro mount to CB/ham/GMRS radio mic. I have the BPMS on the dash for my phone, GoPro, and what will eventually become my switch pod. Then I have the 20mm ball mount...

Baptism Overland on YouTube did a video where he used the pass throughs from the boating world to install a solar panel. And he did a pretty nice job on the install in general.

My son and I finally completed the Yeasu and Midland radio installs this weekend! Next stop on the build will like be adding rocker steps and perhaps some pod lights and an switch panel.

That was my thoughts as well. It depends on the cost and capabilities, but it looks like it would make a pretty decent commuter.

Spent some time with a friend of mine, who has a bad ass overland rig, this past weekend improving the wring for my ham and gmrs radios. Just got in the last of my parts to hopefully complete the installs this weekend.

Spent some quality time with a buddy this weekend shoring up my comms power. We added a 40 amp breaker to run my ham and GMRS radios. Waiting on a couple of parts to finish out the install, hopefully this weekend.

Thanks for the head's up. I'll keep it on the radar. I recently went wheeling with a pretty large group and several people had them and didn't seem to be having any issues, but I will keep a watch on it. ?

The next major update was a grill insert and a new bumper. I went with the Barricade Trail Force HD. It's an OK bumper, but it was kind of a pain to install. I will likely keep it for a while and upgrade it later. But it's fully acceptable for the time being.
