Got 37s on last Friday. Saturday I chopped that bracket off the passenger frame rail for clearance. Sunday I did the rear fender chop, which impressively lets it fully tuck the 37. Motobilt fender chop bracket is in the mail, so I'm hoping I get so lucky in the front. 2.5" spring spacer up front...
Bump stops and fender clearance. I was specifically asking about the chopped Sport fenders since that's something you don't see very often. I currently have a 2.5" lift with 2" of additional bump in the front, and .75" lift with no additional bump in the rear. I'm quite happy with this for a...
I know I'm digging up an old thread, but did you do the chop and how did that work out? I'm thinking of running like this for a while if I can wheel disconnected.
First real wheeling trip in the books. Bumper and winch are one, front diff cover, front lunchbox locker, and rear diff skid are in the mail. Loving it so far!
Well, I have the Torqmaster on order for the front of my Willys. Mine has the stock LSD in the rear currently, but when I regear that will probably get swapped out for a TrueTrac. I'll post back once it's installed and I have a change to wheel it some.
This keeps up and I'll be the first :CWL: I think with the CAD it will be a great option for budget-minded people. I also will do the gear install and truss the front axle at home; all work I've previously done on my old JK. The lunchbox install will be sometime this summer, but I'll report...
My current plan is to replace the factory rear limited slip in my Willys with a TrueTrac, but I want a true locker for the front. One benefit with the CAD is that you won't even know it's there in 2WD except for the driveshaft spinning. I plan on doing the lunchbox locker soon and regearing it...
I am resurrecting this thread since the below is out now:

Is anyone running one? I'm planning on giving it a shot. I am curious about maneuverability on tight trails.
Sorry to quote such an old post, but I just picked up a leftover '23 Willys that looks just like yours and would love some more pictures. Any rubbing with the stock wheels and no wheel spacers?
Just picked up this leftover '23 Willys. 2.5 front and .75 rear lift already on, bumper and winch next, then saving for 5.13s, lockers, 37s, and a proper lift. Came from a '15 JKU and loving it so far!
