DON'T. INSTALL. ANGRY. BIRDS. GRILLE......PERIOD.
EDIT:
I bought my 2020 Rubicon in July last year. It came with Access tonneau cover and I've been pleased with it after having a metal retracting style cover on the bed of my '14 GMC 2500HD Denali before the Gladiator.
I installed trail rails...
This is an old and distant picture but my never-to-be-forgotten lifetime best friend Sooner (the Wonder dog) absolutely LOVED riding on our Jetski's. He was big enough to ride straddling the engine and the faster I'd go the more he liked it. At full throttle (on smooth water) he'd sometimes let...
I honestly don't think the leather on my Denali was as good as the leather on my purchased-new '08 Chevy 3500 dually nor on the Gladiator. But I bought the Denali used with about 45,000 miles so no telling what the wheel had been subjected to. I washed the stickiness off as best I could and then...
Hate to be THAT GUY who says it but maybe we should be washing our hands a little more often?
Before I retired (heavy civil construction, I was touching all sorts of stuff) I had a problem like this with my then-new '14 GMC 2500HD Denali wheel.
Not sure if I came back to this thread and reported this. I got 21.7mpg driving up to Seattle keeping it about 70mph. I got 11.8 on the return trip.
QUITE a drop and to me an example that the truck is fully capable of this hard work but I would not do it regularly. My old 2008 Chevy 3500 dually...
How's your hand? Did you break it or just scrape the knuckles?
I assume the couple were in the silver Chevy?
The guy who ran the light was given 9 citations and taken to local hospital (via police escort) for some blood analysis....
So the guy was pretty obviously impaired? Was he hurt - I...
You are NOT strange. I still talk to my lifetime best friend, Sooner the blonde Labrador and he's been gone almost 6 years now. I love my dogs. They only want our attention and affection and would literally give their lives for us. "Animals (dogs) are better than humans and it ain't even...
Ok, but why is this important? Fords, Chevrolets, Dodges and later Humvees have been around as long or longer, owned by Americans, used to various degrees by military.
I don't see why people think wrapping themselves in the flag makes them any more patriotic and anyone else. It makes me think...
Here's the boat I WILL be towing eventually. COVID, the quarantine and the fact that my girlfriend's mother is in hospice care in our house have kept us from using it since the time I sold the Denali.
But I'm certain the Gladiator will tow it fine. Not only based on the boats all you guys are...
Stopped reading this thread after about post #25.
Bitching just makes us little bitches. Life is WAAY too damn short to spend time complaining. Doesn't result in ANYthing.
Good on you Papa for taking good care of your pooch!
My 14 year old toy poodle, Joey just had to have his teeth removed. I've always had big dogs and never knew toy breeds don't have the bite strength to gnaw bones nor crunch kibble that would clean their teeth. He had very serious dental...
Yes, I did and it was with a weight distributing hitch so I don't know how that effects the tongue weight? But if what bleda2002 says is accurate and we deduct 600 lbs from the weigh station weight (is that what you do?) my truck weighed somewhere around 5800 lbs.
So I suppose I was ok...
Well it's all over now. I arrived at my destination, Atascadero, about an hour ago.
The tow went fine. There are places on the road that are REALLY bad due to semis being on them constantly. Other than that the tow was smooth. Even when there was a little wind.
I DID use a Weight...
I tried, site would not let me.
But 6420 and 5280 DO “add up” to the 11,700. I rounded off those numbers but only a few pounds.
Anyway, too late. We’re in the road already in Olympia and it’s towing just fine. The Curt Echo blue tooth brake controller I’m using is working great too.
Ha! Site...
I don’t care if it’s common or not. I like mine and that’s all that matters to me.
But just for the record, why does anyone think a color becomes common? Because it looks good so people buy more of them. Thus validating your choice!
First, I've never had a vehicle weighed before.
Second, I'm starting to tow a 16 ft enclosed trailer loaded with a house full of stuff from Seattle to SoCal starting tomorrow in my totally stock 2020 Gladiator Rubicon automatic. My understanding is that it can tow 7,000 lbs.
The ticket (IF I...
Ha! I expect it to be much worse than I got driving up here but not THAT much worse, sheesh.
I'll report what I get on the first tank so I'll know what to expect but I was hoping for 12-13mpg. At home with around town driving, a little freeway driving I get between high 15's and low 17's.
Friday morning I'll start towing this 16 ft enclosed trailer packed to the gills with a house full of "stuff" from Seattle to Atascadero, CA. I'll be caravanning with my recently-retired nephew who will be towing a vintage "canned ham" travel trailer with his 4Runner.
I drove up from LA...
