I also got these and they worked perfect but note there are two extra holes in the rear (“insert” joke). There’s another brand on Amazon cheaper that someone said is the exact same for ~ $15 less.
This is where I've been with this thread TBH.
My personal approach is, If you're shopping for deals on Amazon you have to admit it's likely from China ... so you might as well take a look at AliExpress and know what's a fair markup for the middleman and what assurance you get with Prime.
We pass down one of our cars to each of our kids after college graduation, to give them a debt-free start. One of them earned an engineering scholarship and so I promised a new car. Since I gave our oldest my Honda Civic Hatchback commuter, I figured I'd get our recent grad a brand new one ...
In the end, because it's functionality seems moderate, it comes down to personal opinion re aesthetics. I have one on my Deep Cherry Crystal JK and that rig likes black accents. I'm on the fence for my new Anvil JT. If I do get one, it will not be translucent ... what an ugly mess that must be...
Solicited Advice ... Assuming you bought it new, and that was when things were expensive, I'd hold onto it until there's a model change, for a couple of reasons. Jeep just had two fire sale model years with deep discounts on 2023 and 2024, followed by a sticker decrease for 2025. So, you'll be...
I'll play along ...
I found this arm rest cover on AliExpress which matches my Rubicon X leather perfectly.
For 7 bucks, I figured I throw this puppy on at the very beginning of ownership to prevent damage.
Unless someone else already mentioned it, I’d be interested whether the bumper bolts/nuts have tool marks indicating a field swap versus a build sheet blunder.
Oh the stories of parts swapping shenanigans Stellantis Customer Service must field from unsuspecting new owners who later realize they bought a donor vehicle.
I cringe when I see videos of owners who say "and the factory fenders can be easily ripped off the plastic retaining clips!" Ok, yeah, let me know which fails more often ... sheet metal or plastic clip.
A hook on my garage pegboard holding shovels gave out and a shovel handle dinged my JK's door. I bought a cheap puller kit and it came out 100%. Thanks to ignorant people swinging their doors into my wife's SUV, I've used it on her car too, with almost as good success.
I can’t disagree. Dealers will somehow even justify sitting on 2023 units into 2025. I get that the aggressive discounts on 2024 units have ended, now that the massive backlog has thinned. However, at this point, if you can’t negotiate the equivalent of 30% off a 2024 MSRP anywhere, I strongly...
Benny - I got the Anvil "PDS" paint pen and it's too dark. I thought I didn't shake it well enough so I removed the application with alcohol and reapplied after shaking it thoroughly. Nope ... Still way too dark. My JTRX is a 2024 with 4,500 mi so it isn't like my hinge is faded.
