To add the sub did you have to add an amp and some sort of controller for the sub or could the stock stereo handle the addition? Or did you swap the stock sub?

Right now I have a 60 mile round trip commute, so I may keep it stock until we move in the next year or so, but then again that is a long time to have small tires.
