Evening (for me) all,
So I have an Australian spec 2021 JT Rubi, I smacked the steering stabiliser/Damper a while ago so its dented but still functions fine.
In the interest of gaining a little clearance I would like to relocate the steering stabiliser/Damper upward as its the lowest point...
Ok, so currently running Maxxis Razr 811 AT and I have found them very quite compared to muddies, but haven't got experience with other AT's, got 30K or so kilometres so far and no drastic change.
I would say though on wet roads for me they have been great, starting to loosen up just a little...
Hi all,
So dumb question I know, but I am just not savvy enough with elec to just wing it.
I run a small portable lithium battery (with inbuilt MPPT Controller but with only 1 input) off my Aux 40amp circuit (run to my bed) that runs a fridge while camping.
I am adding solar for longer than...
HI @intentsrig
I'm sure only one JTR version came over here, Jeep doesn't have a big enough footprint in the market over here to have imported more than 1 version of JTR, we don't even get a shot at the Mohave or the diesels (due to emissions standards I believe)
Our state regulation...
I should start with I am no expert and can only offer what I have done
I don't know if you have the Aux switches from factory or if you have one unused.
So may or may not work for you.
Similar concept to those with the power outlet in the bed, I ran power from one of my 40amp Aux switches to...
Hi All,
So I have a JTR 21 Aussie Spec'd.
I have some sort of deflector between the steel Mopar from bumper and the front fender. I don't think you get them over in the US at all.
I am considering removing it or cutting it down but wondering if I can get replacements if I change my mind again...
Hey all,
So need a sense check from people who are more savvy than me in electrical & DC to DC charging.
21JTR -I ran from the engine bay in triple guarded cabling (8gauge I think you call it over there) to add an Anderson plug in my tray (aka bed). I ran it from one of the 40A aux circuits...
Hey all,
This is not mine, over in Australia this car is for sale.
I have never seen anything like this rack, it wont be everyone's "Cup of Tea"
Does anyone know what/where it is from ???
Cheers in advance
Hey all,
Cleaning off the JTR today noticed I have taken a hit to the Steering Damper/Stabiliser.
(easy to notice the dent and burred edge of the over casing)
Got a service at the dealer coming up this week andhow no doubt they will act like its the end of the world adn "Must be replaced"
To be...
No shock extensions, not sure they are legal over here
As for the ride, it maybe feels a touch harsher, only a little, but that could be all in my head to be honest
From a drive perspective, freeway and low speed I would say it has not changed at all
I was concerned over the change in caster...
Yesterday for me,
finally got the Teraflex 1.5in levelling kit and the .75in rear Daystar spacers installed
I like that I still have some rake , but now my wheels/tyres look even smaller lol
Yeah, pretty cool feature , our other 2017 Toyota has them also
No mechanics around the headlight them selves for adjustment , I hadn't realised till I had her apart adding a light bar then checked through my build sheet
I get the shock is 1 1/2 inch out of its original range , but would...
I have the mopar performance rock rails.
They double as a step as they are about 3 or 4 inches wide and are textured as a step
They sit in the same location as the standard rock rails but wider so do not hang like some steps do
They were on my JTR when I brought it so no idea of cost or...
Ok, ok,
So I know this has been discussed to death in other threads.
I just need a sanity check before I lay the cash down to install the Teraflex 1½ in front levelling kit and Daystar ¾ in rear.
Shock extensions are illegal over here and at this stage I don’t intend on added longer or...
I know my spare takes some of the hits off road under there because of the departure angle, remove it and I guess its gunna be body hits from then on
So I wont remove the spare although I get depending on how you use your JT that may work for you, if you have tyres too large for that space...
