Dam, ain't that the truth
Agree with others, second hand is always second hand, so there is a risk of how it has been treated no matter what vehicle you are looking at jeep or other
I have a 2021 (O/S Spec), from memory I think April of the production line, and only minor issues that could...
Hey mate
Will keep my ear to the ground for that also
I am a couple of hours west out of Sydney
I have spoken to a couple of mechanics, most are like, I "think" that set up would work ,I tap out when I hear the words "I Think"
I was even tempted to just chuck in spacers for a bit, but...
The shitty part for us Aussies is that the aftermarket options are limited .. and expensive
If I want to do a 2inch lift on my JTR it's gunna probably set me back 8-10 grand to do it properly,
finding an honest capable mechanic with the knowledge of the JT is rare (if there really is one)...
Definitely love my 21 JTR Hydro Blue "Rubi"
2 years on and still look back at it in parking lots when I leave
Google stuff for it every day (pretending to work)
Check this forum a couple of times a day for ideas for it
Get it 2 inches thick in mud whenever I can , Then spend hours cleaning it

This thread might help you out
Particularly talking about 38/13.5r17 Falken Wildpeak RT01
Cheers
Hey all,
So I have the 21-JTR, daughter has the 22-JL Overland
I couple of months ago we had both hoods opened in the driveway, it was screamingly obvious that the JT had an engine cover and the JL did not
Assuming it was left of when the dealership did the last service, we called them up...
Snorkels do look good, I am at the same point in contemplating the addition
For me though, I figure if I ever get water over the bonnet I am probably screwed, a snorkel wont be helping me
So for me the snorkel is not a consideration for water fording
But to having the air intake up high (aka...
Thanks Gee
Did you see any movement in your front axel to one side, some other threads on the subject talk about it but all from US spec cars
I would assume as our restrictions in NZ and Aus are really similar that the spec that came out in NZ is probably the same as here. if not pretty dam...
Hi all,
So, I am one of these people that probably overthinks everything. Been off roading a little lately and find that even with picking a good line on some obstacles the “belly of the beast” bottoms out onto the skid plates (nothing dramatic, but I am not a fan) . So I want to get the belly...
Yeah, don't think I was over doing it at all , but the sway bar had been disconnected for the last couple of hours before it started playing up
Unfortunately I "think" I am more mechanical savvy than I am, so nowadays try not to pull things apart unless I "actually" know what I am doing
Will...
Morning all,
well it is here.
I was off-roading on the weekend, sway bar disconnected on the JTR
After the second water crossing (maybe 2-3 ft deep) the sway bar went "stupid", I probably noticed after 5 mins or so after the crossing
But for the next 10 minutes after that the sway bar light...
Must be a overseas version thing (or maybe just Aus), not the first I have come across,
I have seen some other JT's over here without them, not sure if its legal where I am to have any tyre exposed (as such)
Running stock wheels so no offset change. can't use wheel spacers over here either...
Hey all,
I am looking to run 35's for my next set, stock wheels on a Rubi
(probably 11.5w wide , depending on what I can get around here at the time)
I notice everyone has the fender to bumper covers removed
Do they need to be removed for the travel of the 35's ?
Or is this just personal...
