my first JT I mounted the fire extinguisher on the rear roll bar, an idiot crossed the yellow line and I got hit head on at 60mph, the fire extinguisher didn't move, not saying it cant happen but it didn't
I'm not saying I want the reimbursement for those parts it was a lot of work put in and its gone, I would take everything off of it and make it as stock as possible its just sucks
This was my main concern, you just hear a lot of BS about engine replacements being a nightmare, losing value etc...
Yeah I saw a few of them, should have added if anyone tried manufactures arbitration, state arbitration or just straight lemon law. I put a lot into the JT like most people on here so I was wondering if engine replacement was as bad as it sounds to keep this JT. This is actually my second...
In my state you can still make a case after it is repaired if the vehicle was out of service for more than 30 days and the resale value after repair has gone down, but I see what you're saying, I did an initial request with a law firm near me to get started

how would the bed flex separately from the front? I doubt this is even close to finished product but its awesome
now what aftermarket is gunna make that bench grill, because i want one asap
Almost 3 weeks and got the JT back today, leaking water pump gasket and a PCM update fixed the issue, don't like the idea of a 2nd software update fixing it but it hasn't misfired once today, any idea what the second software update did?
I feel ya, where I'm from everyone has a jeep or had a jeep, they are very popular here. I dont think its an issue with people wanting to work, I was more concerned about the quality of the jeeps but I could be wrong
Thought it was the thermostat but the oil temp climbs too, fan comes on, goes up to like 250-260f, when i first picked it up the coolant reservoir had a hole in it, wonder if that burned out the pump and it just took a shit this week, but its at the dealer so waiting game now
I think jeep doesnt trust them either along with they just dont have that skill anymore, but bring it to the guy down the block he will tell you the part number off the top of his head
Oil changes, inspections and rotations here are no appointment needed, you have to bring it in on the weekends only for "express service" and you wait maybe an hour, its the bigger stuff that's being delayed. I guess they hire the oil change people for the weekend and mechanics for the work...
