  1. Roaming Portugal: Jeep Gladiator or Alternatives?

If you aren’t off roading or carrying lots of gear, I would get something small for those tiny roads and tiny parking spaces. A decent hatch light be your best option. Gas is also very expensive in Europe.
  2. Alarm Goes Off Randomly

This happened to me with my Navigator after I accidentally left my key fob in my pants and washed them. If you have another key fob, use that until you dis-assemble your key fob, let it dry then replace the battery.
  3. Not complaining, but auto start/stop has never been 'on' in my new 2023 gladiator

Yep. My dealer even charged it monthly and it still caused issues not being driven. Vehicles are like the human body. If you don’t use it, it falls apart.
  4. New Gladiator owner

I had a sport JKU. I just went from the 29’s to 32 (I calibrated the speedo) and went from 18/24 to a pretty consistent 19. Huge highway milage difference. Tire size makes a pretty big difference. The Sport S Gladiator isn’t the best (still great) for off road, but it seems you make up for it...
  5. 2 weeks in....'23 Gladiator manual transmission- what should I expect?

I am a manual guy and went from Tacoma-JKU sport -Now a new Gladiator Rubicon. The Jeeps both had a light clutch at first compared anything I have ever driven. The distance between gears is also smoother/closer on the stick shift itself. The JKU clutch firmed up after a while. The Tacoma that...
  6. Recommendations for first Moab trip in the Gladiator?

I did fins in a stock sport JKU. It was kind of scary in that Jeep TBH. I had to use 4Low in the beginning. It is listed as easy, but because it has pretty steep and short inclines, you absolutely need sliders. I thing the medium trails at Big Bend and Sonoma are less challenging. My tow...
  7. Power Sliding Rear Window - It's possible!

Great idea. I wonder if it’s possible to use the factory hard top, run it to a factory aux switch, make it a bit faster and detachable for taking the top off.
  8. Not complaining, but auto start/stop has never been 'on' in my new 2023 gladiator

My 23 is a manual def has it, unfortunately.
  9. Not complaining, but auto start/stop has never been 'on' in my new 2023 gladiator

I had this issue. I didn’t care about start stop, but my battery voltage was low (100 miles on new 23). I took it to the shop and it turned out to be the clutch interlock switch. Definitely get it looked at.
  10. Buyers remorse but trim not Jeep.

I was in a similar situation, but I kept it for eight years. I got a sport JKU thinking I could add this and that, but soon regretted it. I spent a ton of money on things I should have gotten in the first place, but I was able to pay as I went with a very small loan. I was going to get a JLU...
  11. The dreaded 3.6 oil cooler replacement

Hello. First comment here. I had a wrangler a few years before the Gladiator. After the original one failed, I went 70k with no issues before trading and I did my own oil changes. The oil cooler failure/leaking is often due to over tightening, under tightening or even putting the oil filter...
