My 2020 JTR also just got a new 8 speed automatic transmission at 33k miles. Truck is stock.
No real hassle from the dealer other than they didn’t have any loaners available and the process took about 4 weeks due to back order. Jeep Cares was better at giving me updates than my service focal...
First time towing with JTR. Towed about 300 miles after purchase. Longer than I wanted to go, but the Jeep handled great. Really glad I had already done the steering TSB, no issues at all.
Agree with on this. It definitely tracks better, but the old one seemed to have a very consistent resistance when cycling through a full turn from zero to lock, whereas this one seems to be more inconsistent. It’s tighter at first and then gets easier. Perhaps I’ve just been compensating too...
Just got mine done in charleston area. Took about 1.5 months for parts to come in. The actual labor took much longer than expected (about 7 hr wait time), because they didn’t check on the bolts being in stock before scheduling my appointment. Luckily they were able to get some from a nearby...
Yes it was leaking just above the sliding window. Must have been a problem with the seal when they installed it at the factory.
It was not a big pain, just took about a day at the dealer. It was their first replacement on a Gladiator and they were a little nervous about it, but they didn’t...
Unfortunately this has been a common problem for some of us. Mine started leaking about 6 months after ownership. Dealer replaced the back glass and the problem has not resurfaced; that was about a year ago.
I don’t usually post in a thread that has so many variables, but have driven a similar route a couple of times; SC to TX in stock JTR with 33 inch AT’s. I average 20-21 mpg holding at around 73 mph. Checked manually, and for me the truck’s computer was accurate as long as I reset it for the...
The JT is awesome. I drive it at every opportunity. Have already taken a couple trips from SC to TX (18 hrs) and it was fantastic. Kids comfortable in the back and me and my wife comfortable up front. Don’t sweat it.
Agree with others that it is too high. My dealer quoted just under $500 for labor. Parts were $1495.
I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Leaning towards upgrading on parts a little and just do it myself.
Yeah there is a whole thread on the Technical Service Bulletin that Jeep released.

Some of those don’t look familiar to me either. I did find the basic install instructions which have torque requirements for you to attach.
