understand the point. Just some people would rather have stock look with the mopar switches.
And you can do a ton of other things with the jscan. so it's not just to add the switches.
I installed mine myself.
The hardest part for me was getting the wire out of the harness. Buy a set of those de-pinning tools to do it. I used a small screwdriver and was scared to damage it.
Use a small utility knife to start the hole from the inside of the truck to get the coat hanger...
I tried something like this yesterday. shifted through the gears manually. it happened no matter what gear it was in. I will try it again with traction control off.
My right rear is leaking and I am getting a weird vibration between 25-30mph. Is this typical for the broken seal? The part should be her next Wednesday. Thanks!
You don't have to. Some functions don't work unless you keep the tazer plugged in all the time.
But if you go in for service make sure to unmarry it and plug everything back in.
In the last two weeks I have installed:
-Mopar 2" lift
-Steersmarts adjustable rear trackbar
-Steersmarts Sector Shaft Brace
-Rancho geometry correction brackets
-37x13.5/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers
-Wire harness to turn off license plate lights while in reverse
-Mopar AUX switches
-KC cowl lights...
l ended up ordering two of these. One for drivers side and passenger side. Going to try them and see how they work out. thanks for all the suggestions!
