Pay attention
1) High voltage has nothing to do with a battery like yours. What high voltage means is the battery has a low state of charge and the ECU is raising the voltage to get it charged.
2) The battery you have is just fine. Of course there are better choices but your concern has...
Link says torque to 92 foot pounds
Btw my 23 Rubicon had a rear bolt fall out. Sheared off the remaining bolt and destroyed the pads. Interesting drive to the shop from the Baja desert. Mechanic disassembled and remove the broken stub, replaced pads and now all is good.
No evidence of thread...
I had them on my TJ and now in my JL Love them. I found with the 4 door you should get the armor if you do any off road because with all that length it is easy to damage the unprotected version. Gen3 is the preferred version as opposed to Gen2 which some vendors still offer.
Yes, it is wise to unmarry the tazer per instructions. Other wise the dealer cannot use their tool to look into the OBD port. Many dealers use their tool routinely to see if there are any codes that need to be taken care of. If you are sure no electrical issues are present then you could get by...
Yes I use a long flat blade screwdriver (1/4") and use it to depress the connector lock clip. then just pull the connector out by grabbing the cable. HF has these long screwdrivers.
With the seat way back you can see both connectors and find the locking clip.
If you want your speed to be correct and want your automatic transmission to shift correctly then you have to program the ECU to have actual tire diameter.
Pretty simple - two ways
1) look up the tire on the manufacturers web site and find the revs per mile and calculate the diameter
2) on a...
I had 35s on my LJ and I liked them better than the BFG KM2s. That opinion was shared by several others.
I now have BFG KM3s and will try to find those Coopers, however my source stopped selling them when Cooper was sold. I suspect the lower price advantage compered to BFGs is probably the...
Happened to me lost one bolt and the other one sheared off. Had to remove the caliper and drive 50 miles (4lo locked in 1st gear). New bolts and new pads and a bunch on dollars. Went back together with Loctite.
With bigger tires if you do not change the programmed tire size the truck computer will give you the wrong MPG and distance traveled as well. If you have an automatic the shift points will be affected. In addition the gearing in the differentials will be non optimum and exaggerate vehicle...
I have one and because the storage is forward the hitch weight is on the high side. I choose to pull that trailer with my F150 rather than my JLUR. One battery, one propane, and a rear spare helps the hitch weight somewhat
OP
What ever your concerns are about choosing a gear are misguided.
The correct gear has a number value that matches the factory overall design as close as possible. The result will be optimized wear, long life, trans shifting, and MPG. And that is the best that is possible. Oddball gear choices...
Old thread - Here a the latest on my RSE steps with corrections from my old post.
LJ started with Gen1 then had an update with new controller and motor with a clutch. Not sure ifs guts ever evolved to the Gen2 specs. Did not need the armor as the metal was plenty strong for my rock hits. That...
Understand the use of a diode on the charge line. But really both batteries are at the same state of charge when you turn off the RV/Truck which means there will no current flow either way. Of course battery condition varies with time and current flow it a possibility.
I done use a diode, but...
Very common to have a charge line to avoid a dead battery in the Gladiator.
Depends on what kind of tow setup you have. The high end setups may not need a charge line. For a DIY setup with a 12 v brake device for sure you will need a 12 v supply.
How to do it is connect the 4 pin to a new 6pin...
Needed are a compete set of Torx bits and a complete set of metric sockets*, and a set of open end box wrenches. Don't forget the missing 18MM one that Jeep uses for all sets.
*Get complete sets 1/2, 3/8, and 1/4' drive
Good read to understand antennas for Jeeps.

This link is appropriate for GMRS frequencies.
The bottom line is do not mount your antenna close to any thing metal - like the A...

For Jeeps and other US brands the best oil is probably from the vehicle manufacturer or Full Synthetic Quaker State, Mobile 1, Pennzoil, etc.
Your experiment with unusual brand gave you a bad result.
The comment about European brands would be the same. Use what the manufacturer recommends for...
