2004 BMW R1150R,
My Chop that I built back in 2009. RE made the frame, springer front end, and the tins....well, no, I made the front fender. Ultima: El Bruto 100ci engine, open belt primary, and 6-speed tranny. Avon cobra street tires. No School Choppers foot pegs. ...and so on...a lot of Swap...
So many stories.
When trying to think of one favorite, this story popped up in my head, and I am going to run with it.
Mom & Dad had a cabin in the N Georgia mountains. It was on the Toccoa River, off Aska Road, not too far from Blue Ridge, Ga. (Dial, is the community, for those who know the...
AGREE! I remember my Dad teaching me about these back when I first got interested in driving.
I am seeing lately a large plastic mat with studs pointed up at the exit of construction sites. I just figured out what they are for, now.
I just got this in the mail. I figured it has to work, it has claws all directions on it, its not expensive. I saw a rock in a back tire, I was headed to work, a little later than I like to leave, I had to try the Stone Cleaning Hook. It was easy, I walked around the vehicle picking them out...
Red 5.
Taken from Star Wars. My lifelong nickname is SamO.5, because of being my Dads 5th son with my name Sam O. So it seemed logical to name the Jeep something with 5 in the name.
I can dig out the receipt. It was a little over a year ago, I know I would not have done this if the price was not right. I was out of work on medical leave, getting my knee replaced, I did not have the $$ for much, having the payments for that new Rubicon Gladdy coming out of my bank. A lot of...
Small town Titusville, the promise of other Jeepers seeing my decals, as well as I did the work of removing the old, installing the new, which he did not have time for, and was going to charge me an arm & leg to do. Also, he had some scrap vinyl from an earlier job laying around that he cut...
I just went to a local sign & decal shop. I let him do all the searching & design, I just approved it. I wanted silver RUBICON letters....also Gladius, instead of GLADIATOR on the sides. He made them, I installed them under my shadetree at home. I think the whole thing cost well under $30
😆 I always forget to take pics when I'm in the middle of the job. I'm usually too busy looking for that damn 10mm wrench!
Go to BleepinJeep, and look at their Work Shirt with the missing 10mm socket on it. hahaha

When I notice them, I usually pick them out. I don't look for them either. I forget....then hear the BAM when one hits a hinge or something later.
However...I do like that tire rock tool that SaiintNick mentioned. Ill be getting that on the next Amazon order. I will use that when I remember to.
I haven't noticed...but I'm going to go out and see if mine has this. I will see what is underneath. Then Ill attach a bag of some kind inside, make the plastic cover a lid, and use it for stowage.
It goes everywhere I want to go. It looks good, I get lots of complements, lots of waves. Whenever I miss my old GMC Sierra, I listen to the complements. Its a good truck, all that I really need.
Saturday, I got stuck in some sugar sand when going up a hill in 4-high....Since I was stopped...
I do not like it. The only place where I see it is needed, is when I am on the way home from work (2nd shift Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge) and I see deer and/or other wildlife in my headlights, I pull over to get a video, the engine shuts off. Convenient, very convenient. The animals settle...
I did too! My salesman friend told me that they had this one Gladiator Rubicon that didn't sell in any of their holiday promotions. "No one touched it. All the other ones sold", and that I should "come down and see it as soon as I could". Also, "it would be better than anything that I wanted to...
Good question, I like some of the answers here. I wanted to say: "A few paper towels, and a roll of electrical tape in a Burger King bag. The electrical tape squeeze's the wound/stops the bloodflow, till ya get off work, get home and have the wifie look at it".
I put together my own kit, too. A...
