I understand what you are getting at but I’m sure all of the engineers and designers went over this in great length and determined the most practical way for it to open and that’s what we have. If it was to sit anywhere else, it would either block the bed, block the back doors, block rear...
I wasn't a big fan of how it sat open at first but after using it a few times, it grew on me. Like others have mentioned it allows us to have the top open and closed in seconds. It can't go all the way into the bed for several reasons - what if you want the top open and the bed is full? Plus...
You mean like leveling blocks? I wouldn't think that would be the same performance as adding in new springs and shocks (as well as beefing up other components)
Yes I was measuring mine this morning... the antenna is about the same height as the soft top also.
As long as with the lift it's 81" or less I'll be ok!
Great pics in here!
Forgive me if it's been asked already... but has anyone with the Mopar 2" lift and on 37's measured the overall height of their Jeep? I have 37's on mine now with no lift, but want to make sure it will still fit in the garage once the Mopar lift goes on.
Thanks!
Even with the cold morning temps lately (sometimes just above freezing) no CEL or ESS messages have returned since the software update was done. Even went back to another full tank of 87 to see if that would help get the CEL but nope! Knock on wood it's fixed for good.
Finally got my new wheels and rubber put on and couldn't be happier! 37's on now with no lift (yet). Will do a Mopar 2" lift later on the winter or spring.
Chrome lugs are temporary... they didn't have any black ones in stock at the time so will swap those once they come in.
Put around 500km on the Jeep now since having the flash done and still no CEL or ESS errors. Thought it might have been because of the 93 octane fuel I had in it so I put in some 87 a few days ago but still no returning CEL. Hoping it's fixed for good... seems to be running well now.
Hoping it...
IMO rust-proofing is a must around here. Over the past few vehicles, I’ve had some rust proofed and some I didn’t bother. It was night and day after the 2 years of driving them. So much salt on the roads around here. I’ve seen off lease Wranglers on the dealer lot for sale that didn’t have...
Still no CEL or ESS error since the flash has been done on mine last week. Been driving it every day and it's been cold in the mornings here.
Will take it out again this afternoon for a longer drive and see if it comes back.
I thought I did but here it is just in case:
Build date: 100219
Mileage when it first occurred: ~2000km
How many times has it occurred: 3
What exact codes did it throw: P0300
Is the issue on going? N
If so, what has been done to try to solve the issue? Software update
Was the issue ever fully...
I'm at 4 now so guess I am behind the norm.
Well I at least made it home without it coming back on, so guess I shouldn't complain too much. I'll try and give it a nice long drive tomorrow and see if it comes back on.
Well I just got back from the dealer with mine for this issue as well and they ignored my request for the compression test. They did a software update and called it a day. Also ignored my request to have the steering TSB done. Was there for 6hrs and all they did was a software update...
Well mine finally got it's second outbreak of P0300 today. ESS has been giving errors every time since yesterday and sure enough, P0300 was right behind. This time however, it sounded like it wanted to stall and I barely made it home. Only put 2000 km on this JTR and this is the second time I...
