no not really but they are increasing in popularity both ram & chev now have factory backed conversions so the price is becoming much more affordable i can now get a new ram for $80 000 they were well over a hundred until this year
they are many & varied i have had crank angle sensors fail 1 of my mate has to disconect his battery for 30 second when his windows wont go up so it resets & from all reports ive heard the current model grand cherokee sales have plummeted mostly due to getting a bad reputation for unreliability...
hopefully with this extra effort put into there electrics they might actually be a bit more reliable because electrical issues are killing jeep sales here in aus
seems theyve told us a slight untruth just noticed today (hadnt thought to look before) but the current model hilux has the 3rd brake light in the tailgate & theyve been on the market for a few years now
this to is why the sahara trim is not exported, its called overland but still the same trim level, toyota use sahara as their top spec landcruiser trim over here & i asume other parts of the world
now why the gladiator is called overland rather than sahara for your domestic market i asume they...
yep i mostly drive old crap & im always disappointed with modern tech in vehicles i do prefer basic vehicles that just work unfortunately most of them are either too long in the tooth to be reliable or too collectable to treat the way i treat cars
ill have to wait & see whats available when they get here but im loving Gobi,Sting grey & Gator so i wont know for at least another year at best guess:(
