Hello,
I have 2021 Gladiator Sport S, 3.6L Pentastar, and the tow package (*Not max tow).
I need a clarification on which gear oil to use for rear diff. The manual states to use Mopar 75W-85 however I have seen on multiple forums to use 75W-140 if you have the tow package. Is that tow package...
I am mounting these tomorrow morning. I am also question which mounting location to use. Instructions say for non rubicons to use top hole for 3.5" lifts, but it looks like Instructions are for the JL Jeeps, not Gladiators. I'm going to gamble on top mounting location. How are you liking these?
Hello, I realize this is an older post but was wondering if I need to align jeep after adding Rancho drop brackets? I did alignment one month ago after adding 3.5" lift. My caster is off as expected. It drives pretty well but want caster closer to spec. Thank you.
I'm adding the geo correction brackets. It rides nice but I figure returning the caster closer to spec can only improve ride - caster is currently 2.5 to 3 degrees off spec.
Can someone educate me? Will adding drop brackets change the toe angle? I'm wondering if I will need an alignment after...
I will probably install geo brackets, I ordered them and have them laying around somewhere. My toe angle was adjusted but caster is 2.5-3 degrees off spec. I knew it'd be off but its fairly significant. The brackets should help return the caster.
Yeah it seems to hunt for gears on the freeway...
Hey all,
Is anyone running Kanati Mud Hogs on here? I have them (37X12.5R17) on my Sport S and am wondering what pressure you run on the road and what you air down to on the trail? I am going to chalk test these hopefully soon but curious to what you guys are running.
Thanks!
I am running 3.73 gears. I thought for sure I'd have to regear, but the power loss seems pretty minimal. These Kanati tires are light for a 37 though, 69lbs a piece.
I am getting an alignment this week to correct toe. I will see how far off caster is, but seems to ride pretty well.
Update. Lift installed! Overall went smoothly and was pretty fun assembling. It took me awhile because I didn't have power tools or a nice jack - ran to HF to get a real 3 ton floor jack halfway through instead of using my flimsy scissor jack and tiny 2 ton trolley jack....should have done that...
Newbie question - on the front N3 shock direction. I'm doing this install next week and I skimmed the directions and want to make sure shocks are correct direction.
Instructions say "eyelet should be offset to outside of vehicle."
I am assuming the metal tube is a "sleeve" and should point...
Update, 5 months later :)
Received my suspension then developed rear leaking axle at 1800 miles. Was in shop for a few weeks. A bandaid repair didn't fix it so entire rear Axle was replaced. Jeep was in shop for a month after that.
M/T tires showed up 3 months later ?
Time to have some fun.
Thank you and I agree, when I took a 2nd look, it looks like it dripped into bottom of rim and sand covered it up. It looks worse than the first time I looked at it
Those look slick. Rethinking my options now...I'm thinking piecing the parts together is the way to go instead of ordering one of the package deals. Will also take out and reuse my TPMS to save a little extra cash (for more mods ;)).
Hello!
I am ordering 37s m/t tires after I lift my Sport S (3.5" lift kit). I was going to pull trigger on a set that comes mounted and balanced on aftermarket wheels. However, after looking at price tag I'm wondering if I can save a few coins by utilizing my stock wheels.
I am confused though...
I pulled the trigger on the 3.5" lift (coil version). I've selected some 37" tires but picking a wheel is harder than I thought lol. I ordered LCA (geo correction) brackets as well. I have everything I need for install, except I will need a bigger torque wrench :)
It looks great. Let us know how it holds up. I have this lift as well but haven't installed. Still need to order the wheels w/37s and also going to get some LCA brackets.
I've heard people say the brackets can make a huge improvement in the ride quality so I will try them. Just need to decide if I'm going springs vs spacers now...
@Hoover104
This is off topic but was wondering how you like the lift? I'm looking at the same one - any particular reason to go with the springs over the spacers (and utilize the stock springs)? Thank you
