This is what I’m doing. My only question is I have the factory utility rails. Do you think I could modify/cut some of it to work with the rails? Thanks.
I’m with you the bed is made of a sardine can. I just started a thread before I realized about this one. The wheel wells dent if you hit it with your fist. Don’t ask how I know lol.
all I was saying is it’s a super thin bed. I don’t care I’m just disappointed in the quality. You can literally use your fist to dent the wheel wells. That’s sad.
Just saying. I haul firewood in my bed from time to time, and just dropping a small round onto wheel wells dents the crap out of it. Very dissatisfied with the beds durability.
I don’t really care because it’s a truck but still it would be nice if they could have made it just a little...
Not that specific 392 because it has no rear travel, and no articulation out of the rear axle if you listen to TFL, they review it. In order to keep the tires from rubbing the bump stops are straight to the actual with no articulation at all, they say it rides like crap.
Hauling some red oak. Built a little wooden headache rack that sits behind rear window. Keeps the wood fromhitting it. Also a place to keep the saws. Probably 20 something rounds back there
wishI had an 8ft bed sometimes ?
