Installed Arcus bumper, 12k warn winch, and snorkel. 12k winch is huge. Front end dropped about a 1/4 inch so not to bad. Have some inner fender liners and chop fender hardware coming soon. Then have to get my lift and tires.
New Broncos being recalled for a 2nd time, this one sounds dangerous. Control arm failure causing rollovers. This is why you don’t buy the first of it kind. Luckily with gladiator there’s not a lot different from the JL.
I have been hit with 3 rocks so far up here in Anchorage and am quite impressed with the windshield so far, small chips and no cracks, beats any other windshield I have had up here.
Wildpeaks are very popular here in Alaska, but I wonder if that is because of the price difference? Like I said though my concern is the weight difference the 35” wildpeaks weight about the same as a 37” tire
My big concern is the weight difference and how much I would notice this with my Rubicon. Duratrac is 60lbs and Falken is 73lbs. Probably going with warn diamond cutters coming in at at 26lbs
I’ve been trying to buy tires on Discount Tire, but everytime it gets to shipping method the website gacks out, someone told me up here you guys ship to alaska but not having much luck right now
Wondering if anyone has experience with these tires on ice and snow, roads in Anchorage are covered in ice for 90% of winter time, so want to make sure they handle ok.
Living in Alaska makes it a little easier to avoid mods for a while, of course that’s why I bought the rubicon, as it already has a lot of stuff going for it.
