This may sound funny but try cleaning your charging port. My iphone was charging but no Carplay on a recent trip to Florida. I used a toothpick and pulled a bunch of lint out of there and it went back to working normally. Edited to add: if you're using VPN, it will mess with Carplay as well...

Put in windshield #3. The original lasted 3 years before I replaced it last May. So glad I upgraded my insurance with zero-deductible glass coverage. This one was cracked by a random rock kicked up on a fairly busy road but no big trucks around that I saw.

Got my Oracle back-up lights put on today. Super easy (like 15 minutes total) with the wiring harness and no issues with my non-LED tail lights. The OEM back-ups are dismal so this will have to be a giant improvement.
