My cousins named our Mojave, Scout, because it looks ilke a military scouting vehicle; except when its clean and all the shiney granite crystal metal flakes come to life. Thats why I hardly wash Scout.

I disagree re crush cans and guaranted airbag deployment on deer impact. 21 JTM OEM front bumper received only minor damage after striking a white tail at 25 mph. No airbag deployment, and the collision avoidence system probably help to prevent worse damage. BTW, all systems go after collision.
I wash our 21 Mojave maybe 3-4 times/year. Here in NW Montana it is very hard to keep a clean truck. It's either construction season, bug season, ice and road salt season or mud season.
