No. In the past I've talked with various " health care providers" and apparently, in Iowa the insurance companies run things and the doctors are shy about testing. Then the biggy here, Mercy, has crazy minimums that doctors are forced to see each day. I've had totally severe bouts in the past and it's always "It's not your heart, you're ok" Never a check of gall bladder even though Tuesday the symptoms and pain were right out of a textbook for gall ladder.Did they not do a CT when you went in complaining of belly pain?
One ARNP told me things are better in Mississippi than Iowa as far as insurance and such. Less control over what doctors can do (she has a sister in medicine there)
