Love the Gobi color. Wish it wasn't discontinued in '21.
Agreed. You know, the one in the middle is actually “Mojave Sand” which preceded the Gobi. It’s a little lighter, a little more yellow, a little less brown. Of the two I like it better.
Nothing good last forever :(

Imo, '21 has the worst color options.

Oh yeah, I just gave her a fresh wash on Saturday morning! Then a fresh coat of mud on Saturday afternoon. I keep up on my clean pretty well, or hit a relatively deep clean every once in a while. I got kids and dogs so I've gotten pretty efficient at it.
When I wash, I use the wax spray everytime and dress up the plastic. It might be because the hydro blue pops so much.

I wash mine often in the winter, and use the rain in the summer. Having the doors off most of the summer, and some times on the dunes, the inside hasn't been cleaned in a long time.

I'm on month 16 and I still have new car anxiety. I clean it in some form or fashion weekly. Sometimes its a just a quick wipe down with a damp microfiber cloth to get dust/pollen off. Black looks dirty real quick but gorgeous when shiny. Use really terrible amazon seat covers but the leather seats underneath are still beautiful :)

I was in a pretty vicious cycle for a while; go have fun and get it dirty, then spray wash it and hand wash it b/c I wanted it clean and shiny in the driveway, and repeat…. After many cycles, I finally cleaned it up real good, then claybared it, then applied liquid turtle wax with ceramic, along with meguiars tire shine ( keeps them black, but not shiny ), and now, for the most part a spray wash leaves it looking pretty good. This stuff is supposed to last almost 6mo and it’s held up beautifully.

in terms of the windshield, I’m usually spraying/wiping clean about every tank. I take a roll of paper towels and window cleaner wherever I go.

I also tend to clean the outside as a precursor to removing the doors. I do the interior as a precursor to reinstalling the doors.

My '23 Rubi turned 1 year old on June 15. To mark the occasion, I washed it on Friday, waxed it on Saturday and cleaned the interior on Sunday. Last wash was some time in February. In my defense, the JT never sees winter salt. That is what the '88 YJ is for. Washing included a thorough wheel - tire wash, then everything was foamed, and washed. Also I hand waxed with Griot's carnauba wax. I know.......old school.

I wash mine 3x a year and apply a topper to the graphene coating.
looks super clean for at least a couple months after. Huge fan of the stuff whereas I used to think it was just expensive wax

ut, I don't pamper and tinker with it like I used to. In fact, can't tell you when I washed it last. So, this morning, after feeling a bit guilty for how dirty it was, I washed it up really nicely and vacuumed it out. Gotta say, it looks pretty good.
I'm curious to hear from y'all who have had yours for some time now, how often do you wash and clean it up, now that "the new has worn off?"
I forgot its been so long. Perhaps I need to remember to give it a good cleaning and waxing

I wash our 21 Mojave maybe 3-4 times/year. Here in NW Montana it is very hard to keep a clean truck. It's either construction season, bug season, ice and road salt season or mud season.
I need two to three weeks of a clear weather window and no visitors ( we like showing off our part of Big Sky Country which involves dirt and off roading) before I will even consider washing the Gladiator. I at least will try to keep the windows and interior clean.

I be usually keep mine spotless unless I’m out playing but since I bought the new Ram I really haven’t jacked with the JT a whole lot. It has stayed pretty dusty the last few weeks 😀🤷🏽‍♂️

I’m on the beach surf fishing 4 to 5 times a week. part of my routine is to rinse it after each use. No corrosion or rust so far. Waiting for the tide to come In. Even jeeps get stuck. She had to use 4 flipper high to get off the beach after dumping the kids off

Maybe once a month during the warm months? The earl gray has to get surprisingly dirty before it looks "dirty". The interior gets a vacuum and wipe down much more often though.

Also before winter I'll crawl under and touch up any chips/etc. on the frame so that the salt doesn't get an easy foot in the door.

Great responses by everyone who commented. As I suspected, the frequency and conditions are all over the chart. But that is to be expected.

Keep 'em coming....................
