I went with the HD due to the included tie downs and the fact that I could see myself going over 400lbs. The price wasn't to bad when you consider what extra tie downs cost.
The shims in the rails helped, but I get a tiny little leak during some rain storms, and I mean tiny when it comes...
Could go with something light like the RR Arcus. That bumper is such a thin shell and a winch plate it honestly weighs as much as most aluminum ones when it comes down to it. for the price it was hard to beat and worked with my JTR skid plate, most other ones did now.
ouch thats good to know. I guess i will continue using my 12volt power screwdriver. I use that thing all the time because I am afraid of my own strength
I do, but thats because my doors are never attached.... lol
I have never gotten water with my factory soft top. My Dad's JK though has the exact water problem you describe.
Yep that one is part of the "jungle" set I think. Have been looking at every individual one from that set. Really want this one bad though since I don't even remember what the doors to my JT look like. lol
when you guys installed yours did you remove the springs like it said to. I know I have seen a post or video where somebody just squeezed the airbag and fit it in.
A turn signal on a lane change? What is this mystical thing you speak of?
So true though. Most cars I see have them adjusted so they can't actually be used for anything
The easier way to deal with blindspots would be to put real mirrors on these things instead of $1600 worth of sensors, lol. With properly adjusted mirrors most vehicles don't have blindspots. Some people are obsessed at staring at the side of their vehicle instead of the lanes next to them...
I do, but I also have a rubicon (slightly softer suspension) and my trailer is a 28ft 6klbs Jayco so in terms of size I am coming close to what the jeep can handle. With the WDH I am perfectly level. If I didn't have that room to squat odds are I would have ended up overloading my front axle...
Yep the bumping is just dishonest. I get things are going on, but they have to have a clue based on when orders were placed instead of a blanket date for everybody that will never happen.
