With the weight seriously order the button for the Echo as well. I have had a few steep hills where I have had to manually engage just the trailer brakes. Fumbling for a phone would have been scary. That trailer will have the size to push you
Biggest thing would be the payload. how much will you be loading up in the truck, people and otherwise. Tounge weight on these things can vary a lot.
Can't speak for the echo, but I would strongly recomend the wireless button they now sell.
Somebody above me had mentoned it. Seemed like a great idea since personally I want this for its ability to throw light, but others want these as automatic reverse lights that come on everytime. Seems like a win-win senario if the lenses can be swaped.
When was your JT built? Before Jan of 2020? If so there is a TSB out there and this could be related to there not being a diode in your cable. The cherokee ones don't have one is my understanding.
I have a small bag hooked up for trash. Other than that I removed any other thing I had attached early spring last year since I realized it probably wasn't best to have them just sitting out there since I tend to never have my doors attached. Personally the Molle would be way more useful to me...
Every state does something strange with trucks and it makes no sense at all. There are SUV's that can tow 8k+ yet they don't fall under the strange truck rules. Mine is registered the same, but I swear property taxes are calculated differently somehow on it because it is a truck, like with...
Depends. I actually would like these as aux and to upgrade the standard reverse lights. there are uses for having something powerful in reverse at night. I agree though it is limited use for most people. I can't imagine having something this powerful turning on everytime somebody goes into...
Damn. Never knew they did kryptec, that could have swayed me towards dropping that amount of cash. Those are going to look so awesome when you get them.
Hopefully have my diver down covers that have been delayed for months shipping out on the 15th. if somebody else on here hadn't gotten the same ones I woud think they are vaporwear.
Something like the Bestop Core Doors (or just those) want a good half door/convertable door. The factory half doors are pointless for the price as a second set. Tube doors don't give me weather protection. The fabric doors dont seem good enough for day to day use.
Quadratec mirror movers for...
lol yep those crack me up. but even if you did that the LTE modem is still in there somewhere that can be triangulated from towers. Technology is awesome and creepy at the same time.
You might be better going Katzkins (or however you spell it). Have a friend that took his camero to a place in concord NC got semi custom looking seats for $1200 out the door. Quality on those is better than factory, and less than the actual factory would charge
I had to use this little "hook and pick" set I got from harbor freight for 99cents. orange handles. One of the curved ones was perfect for this. was able to pop the tab at the back while lightly pulling the cable.
I guess for anybody without a backup camera this could be semi useful, seems like adjusting would be easier than cranking this thing though. I actually named the backup camera in my van the hitch cam because it was the only thing I ever used it for was hitching the trailer. Even now my kids...
