Exactly. Got impact rated sun glasses with the gasket around them, and even have a strap on them. more than covered. Without secure eye protection though I would worry about the bugs hitting my face at a high speed, lol.

Yep. There is an active GMRS repeater in my area people regularly jump on, many areas have those. If you are not into chatter it still is a good backup communication method if nothing else.

One less costly mistake was the cheap amazon LED bulbs. Don't get me wrong they were decent, but it feels like $40 wasted after I went with Oracle headlights and fog lights. Output is so much better. The cheap bulbs were better, but I feel like I should have just done a buy once cry once

What frequencies are you using them on though? You need a license for the ham bands. Technically it isn't GMRS certified, but if you have a GMRS license nobody will care or notice there if you stay on those bands and follow the rules for GMRS

Sadly they just charge you over and over for that same damn alternator.... I wish they would have given me the option to keep the extra ones I paid for!

They are currently under investigation from the FCC. I would not mess with them right now. Standard GMRS is better.

I did the shims they sent about 6 months ago. Holding up pretty good so far. I just wish they had sent just a few more so I could have shimmed the entire thing to be on the safe side.

That one doesn't look to bad, personally I would try to find one that would sit low inside the bumper to limit the impact to airflow as much as possible.

Tri-City is pretty good. If they can take care of you they will. between when mine was ordered and delivered FCA upped the price on a few components and I think started charging for colors. They without question honored the ordered price and not the window sticker
