I'm not saying people with those models don't wait. But Jeep specifically states they are built as the orders are placed. But that is clearly untrue. As for the shutdown, there is a newly posted thread that states the plant is shutting down for chip shortage.
Jeep is halting production of Gladiators due to shortage of chips. I have questioned them multiple times about why higher models get build preference. They said that's not true. My Sport was ordered 9/4. I still am in "searching for parts" status. Two examples of Rubis and Mojaves being built...
That's how. Most everyone I see with Rubis and Mojaves have their build sheets a good two weeks or so before Sports ordered the same time. Cryptosticker has one now that was ordered 2 weeks ago and is in build. Yet I'm at 1 month.
Thanks for posting. I have a Sport on its way soon. I've been trying to find a good representative pic of what mine would be with 35s and Max Tow. I'm adding a leveling kit but that's all. Nice rig. Almost went with those rims too.
Why do you say that? Plenty of people here have been between 8 and 10 weeks for all models. I don't know why a base would be any different. In fact, I would assume a speedier build and ship. Just curious
Crap, punched in wrong month. FIXED

This is officially my first Jeep build. So this may seem like a dumb question to the seasoned vets.
Is it recommended I break in my brand new Gladiator before a leveling kit and 35s?
Thanks
