Yea the 1st deal is better IMO. The shocks won't lessen your lift, they will just restrict your down travel. I had those springs with a frankenlift and was extremely happy with the height and appearance. The ride wasn't good until I installed drop brackets, rear track bar bracket and drag link...
They will probably both be fine for DD use. The 3.5-4" shocks will definitely be a restriction on articulation for those springs. The rears give 4.5" of lift, the front is more like 6".
It's a shitty thing to have to worry about in a vehicle thats deaigned to have the doors removed. I had it fixed under warranty on my 2020 and then it happened again after my warranty expired. I tried to bend the pins and got the windows to work but I basically lived with no blindspot warning...
I have never seen one with 4 cut-outs but the Go Rhino stubby has a light bar cut that holds 4 cube lights. I just installed these Lasfit switchback amber/white fog light bulbs into my factory bumper. They change every time you turn them off and then back on. Smittybilt Stryker coming soon...
Got the LED upgrade completed: Hikari Eye of Megatron headlights
Lasfit White/Amber fogs
I kept the LED DRL's from before I chopped the fenders on my 2020 - I can't remember the brand.
The headlights are the brightest ones I've found yet and the fogs are super cool!! They switch between white...
Yea, after speaking with @TTEChris I believe they are the correct coils. I ordered a 2nd pair from a different company and will be able to verify once they arrive.
So I remembered that I still have my 3.5" Skyjacker front coils and had a comparison pic next to the 4.5" plush ride coils that I put on my 2020 3.6.
I took a pic of the supposed 6.5" hd coil spring next to the Skyjacker coil and it is the exact same length as the 4.5".
I need some help. Does anyone have experience with the Evo 6.5" JT Diesel lift? I'm specifically looking for the P/N stamped on the front HD springs. I ordered the lift amd received the springs but it doesn't look right to me. The front springs on my Evo 4.5" lift were the same length as the...
First of all, I absolutely love both of your builds on here! Are these shocks rated for 2.5"-5" lift or 6"+ lift? Do you have the front springs? I recently ordered the Evo 6.5" hd lift with King shocks for my new Ecodiesel. It was the last kit available online and it arrived with the wrong...
The lower front CA's and shocks showed up!
I opened to check everything and got another potentially unwelcome surprise...the shocks are labeled for a 2.5" - 5" lift. I started googling to see if these were the correct shocks and found a couple of retailers that advertise these shocks with the...
Lift parts started arriving yesterday!!
I opened each box to verify everything was there and after making it through the component kit, front and rear track bars, rear upper CA's and rear springs I got to the front springs to find that I had been sent JK 3" lift front coils. The box had the...
I had quite a bit of equity in my trade-in so I took some of that cash and turned it into a lift/wheels/tires/steps/bumper.
I had a frankenlift on my Max Tow: 4.5" Evo springs with Metalcloak CA's. This time I'll be going with an Evo 6.5" stage 3. I'll be adding my MC front upper and rear...
I had read a number of posts here and heard a lot about the offers people were getting for their trucks so I decided to put my info into KBB and see what came of it. The numbers looked good so I started searching for an Ecodiesel. I found 1 that was en route to a dealership in Houston and...
I just traded my 2020 Max Tow for a 2022 Sport S "Texas Trail" edition with the Ecodiesel. I documented my 2020 build in my showcase but regretted not doing a build thread so here we go!
The recon package comes with extended flares that should be able to be ordered from Mopar. I believe they add .75". It will be hard to get anything wide enough to cover them though...mine stick out ~3" out side of the high top fenders. 40x15.50 on -25mm offset wheels.
I am currently running Evo 4.5" springs with MC control arms. I had to put the lower fronts out pretty much to max and add geo brackets to get my castor angle right and stop DW. They do work tho and ride great! That is a huge jump from the MC 3.5" to the Evo 6.5". The MC lift measures 3.5" of...
The same thing happens to mine like clockwork - this my 3rd Winter in the Gladiator and it has happened every year. I won't get into what's DW or not but I have replaced just about everything on my suspension and my steering components battling it. The latest round of mods were the Synergy...
