I ran the wires, starting from the rear bumper, under the bed zip tied to factory wires up toward the back passenger Wheel. I continued behind the shock/spring tower (Making sure to avoid any moving parts), then down to an opening in the frame below the back passenger door. Then From a Hole in...
OP here - This is what I ended up doing. I removed the reflector and cut some black aluminum diamond plate to fit the reflector location, used the original reflector bolts and nuts. Ordered the diamond plate off amazon, easily cuts with a sharp pair of tin snips. Surface mounted a set of KC...
yeah, backing my boat trailer after dark was my primary reason for doing it, no light at all where we park it. these KC C2's put out a huge amount of light, they'll light up the entire area. highly recommend!
yes, I ran the wires inside the box frame all the way up to the aux wires in the engine compartment. Used the factory wire looms under the bed, zip tied to that, made my way to a hole back there to enter the box frame. Then There is a hole in the box frame behind the shock that serves as an...
replaced the reflectors in the rear bumper with some black aluminum diamond plate (form amazon) and KC C2 LED flood lights. Wired to aux switch.

yes factory tonneau. The final section of the tonneau that meets the tailgate is only held in place by friction against the back side of the tailgate when its shut. with a minimal amount of upward pressure with your thumb, you can pop that section open even when the tailgate is closed and...
sounds like I need to double check my tire measurement. Thanks for the opinions, hopefully you're right. I realize its a jeep, and its still better than the 11.5 I was getting in my 2007 JKU, I was just hoping to be pushing the 20 mpg barrier!
yeah, this is what I'm talking about, you're running 41's and still getting a couple more mpg than me.....that's crazy to me. Makes me worry that something isn't right with mine if guys with 37's and up are doing that much better with the same gears. Even though mine are E rated, I would...
yes, I used the tazer mini to recalibrate. I'm also running the BFG KO2's but I have the 35x12.5x17, these are E. Mine measure out to a little over 34", so I set the tazer to the lowest 34 setting which I believe was 34.08 or something like that.
Looking for some input from my fellow Texans. Around Dallas, we've been in the upper 90s every day for about a month a more. I've had my jeep for a couple weeks now, a little over 350 miles on it. I have the max tow package (4.10's), the mopar 2" lift, 35's and an AFE cold air intake. I...
I’m thinking about surface mounting a set of the KC C series 519 floods where the bumper reflectors are. They’re small enough to fit in there and seem to put out a plenty of light from the pictures I’ve seen.

thanks for the info. Mine takes zero effort or fight to get the plastic levers into their seats for latching it down. I think you're right, I might have to take it over there and see if the dealer can tighten it up somehow. To my untrained eye, I can't see any adjustment points.
How tight is your tonneau? I just picked up my truck, haven't had any rain yet (in Texas, so probably wont for some time). Mine seems to bubble up a bit on the edge while on the highway, seems to be between the first and second cross bars. by the looks of it, seems like it would be plenty of...
thanks, I'm loving the 2" with 35's. I agree, I think the 35's look perfect with this lift. Also, fyi for those wondering how the mopar lift rides...I drove my brother's Rubicon JT around for a week, the mopar 2" with 35" KO2's feels almost identical to the handling and ride characteristics to...
