  2. Winch Installation

Check out both websites. They should have the bolt patterns
  3. Anyone seen this bumper / know where to get it?

Thanks. I did. It has a Warn VR EVO 10K winch mounted feet first. I had to put the control pack under the hood by the battery. It was a fun project
  4. Suntop Soft Top

You can sew the webbing by hand with with a large needle and use dental floss as the thread. I had limiting straps on a Cherokee front suspension sewed this way and they help up well. Look at how webbing is typically sewn, A box with an X in the middle.
  5. What have you MADE for your Gladiator?

I made a bumper and some rocker guard/steps.
  6. Anyone seen this bumper / know where to get it?

That's the one I modeled my bumper after.
  7. Ranger Enterprises Cap

I like it! I like the utility look on toppers.
  8. Caravan Camper Shell for the Gladiator

Looks nice! I had an ARE work topper on my Toyota and it was very useful. This looks quite similar to that. I really like the double doors.
  9. Air Conditioning

I have a sport and if you turn the dial all the way to cold, the AC is always on. Turn it one click from full cold, make sure the AC is off, and the next time you start it won't come on automatically
  10. How thin is too thin for aftermarket bumper thickness?

If they are using 6mm in the structure of the bumper, I think it would be a good solution. The rest of it being 2.5mm to save weight. I weighed my bumper and winch before I put them on and if I remember correctly, the bumper was right at 70 and the winch was about 55. I have the VR EVO10s and...
  11. How thin is too thin for aftermarket bumper thickness?

I would not go that route. I get that you can do a lot with bracing and design, but 3/32 is thin. The JT is not light and if you are winching from a difficult spot, that is not a lot of metal. I have always used 1/4" for winch plates on any Jeep bumper I have made. For the JT I went with...
  12. Not sure who he thought he was flexing on....(humor thread)

They probably saw an empty parking space and took it. Nothing more than that.
  13. Show me your front bumpers!!

Homemade stubby. Pretty much just a winch mount.
  14. School me on hitch mounted Winches, why are they not more popular?

I had one with a Toyota about twenty years ago. I had a receiver mount on the front, and rear and then had a receiver mount in the bed to store the winch. The winch decreased my approach angle horribly, so I would keep the winch in the bed of the truck until I needed it. But once you need it...
  15. Warn VR EVO 12S & Control Pack Relocation

Custom bumper, the winch is bolted to the front plate and the rope feeds out the bottom of the winch.
  16. What’s up with the rear window on hardtops leaking?

I've never had time to take mine back to the dealer but it stopped leaking a few months ago. It rains here all the time, too. Strange.
  17. Mojave random rear creaking noise

If it sounds like metal on metal, look for any rusty places underneath.
  18. Door hinges

This might not be answer you are looking for, but I used 2 pieces of 2"x2" angle 4' long. They run parallel with one 1' above the other. Drill the holes in the right spots and you can hang the doors on them. It works well. You will also be able to catch 4 wall studs so it will support the...
  19. What track bars are you guys using

I'm running a Rubicon Express adjustable in the front. In the back I have the sock track bar with a bracket to lessen the angle. I like the RE track bar well enough.
  20. Lots are mostly empty of new vehicles!

The Jeep dealer in the small town I live in has more JTs sitting on the lot, than I've ever seen them have. But the chip thing is not just cars. I work in IT and you cannot buy a Microsoft Surface right now. They are out of stock for the next several weeks. Other computer bits and pieces are...
