Factory cover that came with my JT in September.
Love this thing but does not fit with the rack I put on :(
Takes about 15 minutes to install, no leaks and it locks. MOPAR82215617 (this is the rolling type)
$650 firm. I can send pictures on request.
I wanted just the 4' and price really I believe it was like $150
Have not used it other then opening in the picture. Its a little easier with another person there. But the install is super easy.
Installed the RCI 18"
A little disappointed that the factory cover does not work with the clips...so now selling the factory and looking to buy one that would fit.
With that...I DID buy from Craig at Koons and it was a great experience. I did have to drive from Phila area but it was not a big deal and there is an Enterprise rental at the dealership....couldnt have been easier.
Oi I am glad you are ok...and I know you cant stop looking at the damage.
Similar thing thing happened to my JK...more of a hit and run and as insurance covered it, what they did not cover was the dramatic reduction in value even after the repair due to CARFAX (and similar). Apparently you are...
Not sure what your final price was...but you should have enough time to get TreadLightly % (If they are still doing that) and the dealer where I picked up (Koons in VA) was able to do 5% below invoice...I can give you the dealer salesperson name if you like.
Yea...i thought it was funny place for the FOB but then found myself putting it there just because...
There is also a light in the center console...just in case...
About to press the button on this...I see that the clips add 2.5" so if I were to put a tent...that would measure 20.5" above my head? (Trying to reduce the knugget knocking ) does that sound right you think?
Looks awesome btw
Thanks for this and the video...JCR specifically says "Will not work with factory bed cover." but obviously it does. Was there a specific JCR rack or did you just order JCR Offroad - 21.5?
I completely agree with you...I also completely agree with someone else doing it when it’s 16 out :)
as for cost reference my dealer was going to charge $150ish for oil and tire rotation so yes diy is better...although I also like free
It’s by your VIN and the dealer may not even realize..not to defend them....they should know this...but you go on jeep wave site and put your vin in...boom you will see oil changes / tire rotations left etc
