  1. Gas mileage

Do you think they would have different tuning? What would be a reason to do so?
  2. Gas mileage

Look I don't know what to say or tell you. I can't explain why a stock rubicon doesn't get as good of MPG as your almost exactly spec'd to a rubicon JT. My stock JTR is currently averaging 15.7mpg (combined) which is up since the weather is nicer. Someone smarter than me will need to explain...
  3. Gas mileage

The Rubicon is a heavier vehicle by at least 200+lbs and equipped w/ larger tires in their stock form.
  4. Why is there a light in my cupholder?

uh oh...This looks like more material for the "What did you expect from a Jeep?" thread LOL..... @WhatExit?
  5. Alternator and engine cooling

Trailer Tow Package is what you need at a minimum I believe..
  6. Manuals might be dead

response to your numbers 1. Would be a compromise if it did NOT shift by itself (its an automatic!?!) 2. If you use manual mode the logic will NOT let you do something that damages the engine. only restriction 3. Boring on streets is extremely subjective and has nothing to do with an automatic...
  7. ROLl CALL- How many have you owned?

Ha don't! You still beat those of us who are first time Jeep owners! 2020 JTRLE The End
  8. Interior Trim Fit and Finish

For a week I was hearing the noise aka rattling coming from the back. Started happening out of the blue. It was driving me crazy so I spent an hour going through everything. Thought something may have been loose or sliding around. The find was exactly what you mentioned, the seat belt was ever...
  9. Disappointed with poor quality control

The issue I have with the OP is, he's taking his issue (3 scratched wheels, 3 scratches in the paint, and a soaked passenger floor board) and blaming it on poor quality control. Let's say the OP is right in their assessment and ONE vehicle did slip through QQ. That hardly justify's poor QQ at...
  10. 2.5 rough country leveling kit VS 2 inch mopar lift kit

Have to say I really like those rims! Nice touch!
  11. Disappointed with poor quality control

I think even you can admit this is not the norm. To blame Jeep QQ is, dramatic. Guarantee if a majority of happy gladiator owners had scratches or soaked floors upon purchase, then they would not have bought the vehicle. You have nothing to complain about since there is a simple fix to your...
  12. First Jeep Truck Test Drive

I can comfortably tell you that my transmission is smooth as butter whether accelerating or decelerating. Also, the steering is an adjustment however, 4-6 inches prior to responding is an issue/problem and not the norm. There should be some minimal play in the wheel, but not anything...
  13. JT owners post your MPG

Not a thought. I definitely do! I'll be damned if I just jump into the jeep without warming it up first, when it's 30 degrees or below out. It does sink MPG for sure. Iv'e seen as low as 12-13MPG down from my normal 15-16MPG primarily due to warming up. Combine that with the winter blend...
  14. what package is required to get proximity locks?

The unlock is activated when you place your hand behind the handle, then pull. I normally just grab the handle, listen for the locks, then pull. It takes a fraction of a second. No second pull required.
  15. But what if I didn't like their coffee?

What are you complaining about exactly??? The survey is simple, rate the dealer a 10 and you win. If you don't think the dealer was a 10 in all or any of the categories on the survey then, mark it accordingly. The note from the dealer does not say you "have' to do anything. There is no 'or...
  16. what package is required to get proximity locks?

For proximity you do not have to "pull the handle twice" for the doors to unlock.
  17. JT owners post your MPG

JTRLE. I do predominantly city driving (short trips) and average 14-15 MPG. One the highway it is getting 17 all day long. My vehicle is completely stock. During the cold spell we had my way, the MPG dipped into the 12.5-13 MPG range but I always let the vehicle warm up at least 5 minutes, each...
  18. Issue with remote start and outside thermometer

Short answer for me is no. I remote start all of the time and when the wheel and seats should be on they are.
  19. Collision Avoidance False Positives

I don't blame you about the "chicken" part. When i use adaptive cruise i always seem to override the system braking piece when coming to a full stop. I just dont trust the vehicle enough to have it do it on its own.
  20. Collision Avoidance False Positives

Agree. However the intent of the system (jeep only) is if it detects you are moving at a higher rate of speed towards a vehicle and senses you are NOT touching the brakes it will apply brake pressure and sound a warning (if enabled). The system really is a 'wake up' call and expects you will...
