Didn't read through all 12 pages but really my only pain point is the tailgate not having the "touchless" unlocking like the front doors (yes I have that option). When my hands are full it'd be great to not have to dig out my key to unlock it.
I searched and even posted about this but got no replies so wanted to share my experience. I bought my JT off the lot that had 90% of what I wanted (missing aux switches and tonneau). I had the dealer install the aux switches and I bought the soft tri fold tonneau as it's all they had in...
same here, just posted a question in exterior mods forum; I don't like the factory soft top as it only folds back to basically the sunrider position; something that will at least go down fully resting on the tonneau or in the bed would be an instant purchase!
I know there's none yet, but has anyone heard of any vendors working on or prototyping a soft top that goes all the way down where it could rest on the tonneau cover? I have a hard top and want a soft top for the summer but just the sunrider position isn't enough to feel naked enough lol. Thanks!
I've had this one for just about 3 months; garage kept so minimal sun/weather exposure. Only reason I'm selling is cause I am switching to the roll up so I can fully access the bed and install racks over it. Located in central CT. Looking for $400 or best reasonable offer.
When I did my build I put in an Afe Apollo GT high tuck exhaust and after a month or so it’s not doing it for me. Not throaty enough (I know it’s only a v6). I had a Borla s type on my JL that I liked but wanted something different. What do you all recommend for a good, throaty sound but not too...
@Bestop , would there be a way to rig this up to pull the top up and diagonal to the rear of the bed? I can't pull it straight up as my garage door opener is in the way when I fully back in so was hoping to rig something that once hooked up, will pull it towards the back wall. Thanks!
That’s sweet! I can prob do that and then just slide the top down the bed to where I can hook it up then raise and slide it back. Do you have a write up or list of materials by chance?
When I had my JLU I had bought the TopLift Pro and it made it super easy for me to remove my hard top by myself as well as store it where I can drive under it. No with the warmer weather and my JT I'm trying to figure out the best way to do it. My garage isn't the biggest and alignment doesn't...
