Grip it and rip it. Steady, firm pull. They’re quite tight at first but will wear in. Same thing in my JKU and then in my JT.

I’ve grown too attached to the bed to go back. Loved my JKU, it treated me well, but this JT is just an overall better fit for me - Extra emphasis on those last 2 words.

Bartact makes one that’s pretty durable. My dog walks back and forth on it, I’d guess he’s around 50lbs. However I think it’s fairly pricey for what it is.

While I’m still in shock that someone that writes for Car and Driver owns a Jeep, more so a Gladiator, he’s hit the nail on the head.

Not sure I’d be able to use the Rubicon ones as they’re quite low, but I keep a Leatherman on the passenger side seat, and a smaller bag on the back of the front seats. Usually keep a couple ratchet straps, and some rotating stuff (sunscreen and bug spray or hats and gloves).

With the popularity and price (some SxS cost more than my JT), it might be cool to see Jeep throw their hat in the ring for a SxS competitor that wasn’t weighed down - literally- with all of the CAFE/safety standards. ?
